After reading all the complaints I checked my invoice and everything was fine. I was not overcharged.

My bill was up a little but only because I sold more. The increase was in FVF.

Be kind. Everyone is fighting their own secret battles.

Thank you for writing. As you know, we recently shifted to storage-based image hosting (this was necessary for our business.) Image hosting is now a subscription based service, whereas previously it was available only under the Sales Manager plans or on a pay-as-you-go basis. Remember that image hosting will remain free for the majority of Sales Manager users.

The reason your bill appears larger this billing cycle is because Image Hosting is a prepaid amount, just like our other subscriptions. The credit for Sales Manager fees are applied at the end of your billing cycle. It is really a matter of timing - your first bill appears larger because of the time difference between the charge and the credit (which will appear at the end of your next billing cycle.)

The reason why the credit is applied at the end is because at that point we will have a total for all your Sales Manager subscription fees, listing fees and final value fees so we can apply them towards the Image Hosting amount.

After this first billing cycle, as long as your fees stay above the monthly minimum Image Hosting fee, you should see your bills go back to the amounts similar to what they were previously.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Here I thought I had this down and now that it is on my bill I have questions. I understand that the fee is prepaid and that I will be charged now and credited later, but how do you figure this amount appearing at the top of my bill:
Image Hosting Credit: -$30.99??

The amount of my 10/10 bill was $138.77 - $29.95 monthly subscription, $49.95 image hosting and about $58.00 in FVF...so what does the $30.99 Image hosting Credit mean?

EDITED: I think I figured it out - confirm please... that is the $29.99 Variable Rate Plan charge PLUS my FVF to date .. right?

Actually, if our service plans are being billed a month in advance then you are double billing us. For example, I am being billed the $49.95 IN ADVANCE and my hosting plan $29.95 IN ADVANCE. You will credit one at the end of the month (or on 11/07) but in the interim you have twice as much of my money. You should do one or the other, but not both.

Hello,

Neglus -- you are correct.

VintageAds4U - we've always billed a month in advance. The only difference is, at the end of your billing cycle, if your sales manager fees exceed your image hosting fees you will have an image hosting credit apply.

Regards,

Sonya

I really don't get this new billing system. For 5 years my monthly bill has been between $17.00 and $25.00 more or less for everything in the Sales Manager service. I just got my bill for this month and it is $69.90. I have read your confusing explanations about crediting at the end, etc, but I still think this is quite a markup on Image storage and you have to have am MIT degree to figure out your KB and MG's for each picture ......If anyone knows of a less expensive service, please let me know.
Thanks so much. AuctionWatch was such a pleasure.
