I know this will be a dumb question but please bear with me. Under the old system I could number my pictures widget1, widget2 etc and they would come up in that order so I could click on the top one and scroll to the last one in the series and load them all at once into an auction. Now they come up on reverse order and I must click on each one and add them one by one. Is there a way to work around this, other than numbering the last picture with the lowest number etc? I tried that and got thoroughly confused, but then I am easily confused sometimes! I'm sure someone has an easy way or can tell me how to make them show up in the correct order. Thank you in advance.
The default for the new Image Hosting sort order is by last viewed date, however, there are several different sorting options now. You may sort by Filename, Expiration Date, Last Viewed, Upload Date, and Size. To change the sort type, just click column title link corresponding with the sort you prefer. All sort options can be set ascending or descending (you will see a small arrow icon that will indicate which sort option is being used and the direction of the sort.)
For example, to sort alphabetically, just click the Filename link. If the arrow is pointing upward, filenames with lower character values (a, b, c, etc.) will appear at the beginning of the list after numerical filenames.

They are in alphabetical order now, that is not the problem. The problem is when I try to attach them to an auction and perform the search function they show up in reverse number order in the selection box. How do I get them to show up in 1-2-3 order? Thank you for your help.

Yes, I do. When I try to create an auction and attach images onto an eBay auction through Vendio the pictures show up in reverse order. For example goebelbells, I have images from goebelbells1 through goebelbells9e. They show up in the image box as 9e through 1 so I have to click on each one in order and attach it one at a time. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,
Have you tried changing your sort preference here: https://secure.vendio.com/my/acct/seller_global.html
Under the section "Item Listing Options" the first dropdown is labeled "Sort attach images in create auction". If you set this to Alphabetical, your images should appear in alphabetical order.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion. I checked and it is all ready set to alphabetical. I guess I am stuck with the one at a time attachment. It looks like the alphabetical does not recognize numbers, maybe if I switch to letters like widgeta widgetb ect? Thank all of you for your help.

PM - I always name my images the same and put a "z" at the end of the title of my second image, zz on the name of my third etc etc. For example, "roses" would be the first title, "rosesz" the second, "roseszz" the third, "roseszzz" etc - this puts them in the right order.

Thank you neglus, I was beginning to suspect it did not understand numbers. It used to and that is why I persisted in using them! Thanks again.

Well, I tried the z and zz and they still show up in the select images box in reverse order. The single z was on the bottom and the zzzz was on the top. So I am still attaching them one at a time. Oh well, I have wasted enough of everyone's time, I will just live with it. Thank you all.

pmelcher, you can still attach your images using Create Listing all at once, and then reorder them using the little green arrows underneath them in the Attached Images box. If you're not already doing that, it might help speed up the attachment process for you.

Hi Drew, the little green arrows only move them right or left. I tried that and it takes almost as long to move them around as it does to attach them one by one. Thank you for the information.
