Is this something that I need to Opt Out of in advance??? From what I have read, it will not work for me at all so... I don't want something showing up on my bill that I can not use. PLEASE advise.

Hi Kevin,

You have to sign up manually for SMIE so if you do not want to use it, there is nothing you need to do at this point.
