Would you please tell me why only some people have received compensation for the losses we have incurred due to Vendio's image losses?? This is really not a good situation. Last time there were problems, I lost a lot of money when my auctions closed with low, or no bids. I wrote and said that we should get compensation, but Vendio has never contacted me about a refund, although I see that some people have received one.
You really are treating your customers very badly. I have been with you for almost 5 years, and costs have kept rising, and services have become less and less reliable. All of us who have lost money due to your failures need to be compensated. Please let us know when and how we will be compensated.

Thank you Amber...I have asked this question repeatedly with no answer. I received an e-mail this morning stating "your image host is extremely slow, this will affect your sales" I already know this and now others are warning me.

I received a ton of emails saying they could not see my pictures = I lost sales. People are not going to buy something they cannot see, and they are buying right away at this time of the year, not just thinking it over.

This is the busy time of the year for us, and many others. We do need to be compensated for this.

Hello amber,

We are doing our best to identify accounts that were affected and offer compensation to those users who has items ending during the outage. Unfortunately, because this is a manual process it is error-prone. We have checked again and see that you had items ending on 12/6, and we will contact you regarding compensation shortly. Thank you for your patience. We realize that we have let you down and will do our best to make it up to you.

I had nine auctions end during the image down period. Two of them sold even though there may have been higher bids if the images were visible. I would like compensation for this. My Vendio username is dorrie and my Ebay username is sissygal. Thank you

Thank you, I appreciate the reply. I spend about 8-10 hours a day working on my eBay auctions, and the last few weeks I have not even covered my costs, it's very discouraging. I know I would have sold items on the 6th, and a couple last night if the pictures had been there.

There is no reason why Vendio should be trying to charge more for picture hosting, as much as it goes down all the time.

We put buy it nows on items for a reason. Just because our items did not end at the exact time Vendio was malfunctioning, does not mean we should not be compensated.

We pay for a service we were not getting.

A sorry does not cut it.

Can we say sorry and not pay you? I think not.

Vendio needs to take responsibility for the service they provide, and makes amends when they are not providing it.

For an alternate view, KEEP THE MONEY AND MAKE THE SERVICE MORE RELIABLE.

There is no way that a few dollars will offset losses (auction losses and confidence losses). However, perhaps they would do some good if they were spent looking for a more reliable network provider, or faster servers for Customer Manager, or bonuses for programmers getting a UPS calculater in on time that functions correctly the first time.

I say this with all respect and good intentions to Vendio. I honestly don't need $25 rebate as much as I need a service I can rely on.

Happy Holidays,
Claude

I was contacted via email, but still have not received a credit for Vendio being down.

Vendio did not miss sending me my bill, but still has not sent the credit I was told.

Someone needs to get on top of this. This is the second dropped ball on the same issue.
