I have been experiencing seeing double click on vendio, just like on ebay. As a matter of fact, i have clicked on a couple of pages of Vendio, and been sent to ebay. What's up? Please don t tell me what i think is happening is happening.

Hi Bksv99,

can you tell us in what page, and what link specifically you double-clicked to be redirected to eBay?

sure. i was on the sales manager page and clicked on my pending auctions tab. Also, when did vendio get an ebay site tab on the auction page. When i schedule my auction, that page that comes up and says "your auction is scheduled, has an ebay logo, and a place to click to go to ebay also. please don t tell me you are going to doubleclick and tribleclick, or whatever it is. I can see the slowdown already. It makes the page count down the photo items till it is completely opened, and then i can begin typing. It is a slower page already.

also, i am not sure you understand what i mean by doubleclick. the spyware "doubleclick" is now on the bottom toolbar as it goes thru to open the new page. please don t tell me it is on my computer, or that my computer needs updated, or to clear my cache. The doubleclick on ebay has caused me to have to clear cache about once an hour, and i have enough computer savvy to know it is not my machine. thank you.

Hello,

I navigated through your account and not once did I get sent to eBay. There are little eBay logos to signify the venue you are listing to for active, pending and closed listings -- these are clickable and should take you to eBay. Are you clicking on these or is it something different? Can you take a screenshot?

Also, we have ads on some pages -- they are to the left, underneath the menus. A lot of companies use doubleclick for advertising. The animated ads probably slow you down; if you hit the Esc key that will stop the animation and most likely all the slowness. If you have spyware on your computer, it's probably from another source. Vendio does not put spyware on computers.

Regards,

Sonya

no, i did not hit the ebay logo. i clicked on pending auctions and it sent me to ebay. only happened once. Also, i have never seen the tribil and double clicks here on vendio, been using it since 1999. I can hit escape, but i never had to before. i think with ebays slow down and fee upgrade, i will soon be outta this picture anyway, and it seems that the advertising that the online companies are now doing are more profitable than the sellers for vendio, so i am sure i won t be missed, no problem, thanx for answering.

Hello,

Clicking the pending link shouldn't send you to eBay. You may want to try running AdAware on your computer as that will get rid of all spyware (clearing the cache helps somewhat but if you've got something else installed you won't be able to remove it by doing just that). You can download a free copy from downloads.com. If you do this, please let me know if it helps you.

Regards,

Sonya

Vendio is using doubleclick ads on the left side of the screen. Just right click on them, and check out properties:

http://ad.doubleclick.net/ad/N1395.tribalfusion/B47884;sz=120x600;ord=375691309

Many people dislike this company due to their envasive tracking cookies on eBay.

Vendio is using their ads (which we know is true), is Vendio using their tracking cookies as well?
