Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe if you choose a plan and go OVER the space allowed for that plan, then you will be automatically bumped up the the next plan, and it will stay at that plan and you will get charged for that new plan each and every month, EVEN IF YOUR IMAGE STORAGE DROPS BELOW THAT PLAN, UNLESS the seller "REMEMBERS" to change it back to the lower plan. Correct? If Vendio AUTOMATICALLY bumps the seller up to a new HIGHER paying plan when needed, then Vendio should AUTOMATICALLY drop the Seller down to the LOWER paying plan when necessary. Is it fair that Vendio only considers the automatic bump up in plans and not the bump down in plans for the seller? Do the math...for every seller who forgets to constantly check to see what their image storage is and perhaps is in an incorrect plan because they forgot to change to the lower plan, then Vendio is making tons of extra $$$, while the seller is losing $$$$ every month. You (Vendio)NEVER forget to bump the seller UP to a higher paying plan, so don't take advantage of the seller, and do the right thing...AUTOMATICALLY DROP THE SELLER DOWN TO THE LOWER PLAN, WHEN NECESSARY. Vendio...you need to be fair to everyone...not just yourself! Don't bite the hand that feeds you!! PLEASE MAKE A CHANGE IN THE WAY THIS PROCEDURE IS DONE..

Hi ciao346,
Thanks for the suggestion. We would prefer to never alter an individual’s plan selections, and this will remain our general approach. We debated the automatic upgrade exception quite a lot. The only other alternative we could think of would be to fail an upload of a batch of images (either through Pro, online, or the XP Uploader) that would push over an existing storage level and require manual intervention to change plans. That felt pretty unfriendly and cumbersome, as it would be a workflow interruption, so we decided to do these plan changes for only this case. The storage level for the vast majority of customers does not change at all, with upgrades of any type occurring for only a very small percentage of sellers. We’ll continue to monitor this approach, however, to see if any changes should be made.

hi - i like Vendio & will continue to use it but i think the policy makers at Vendio should remember the old saying "Greed & Stupidity Go Hand In Hand"
