Why am I charged 20 cents (or what ever each person specific plan is, as it may be different) each time an ebay store item renews itself? This doesn't make any sense as it is not being "launched" through Vendio again. For example, on a "good till cancelled" items in an ebay store, every 30 days when it renews itself, but I am charged 20 cents - if I am understanding this correctly. This just doesn't make any sense.
The charge for the renewal of an eBay Store item covers the API call that is necessary to renew the information. You really shouldn't be seeing any charges for renewals yet, however. We are still working on the implementation.

Diana, now I am totally confused. I received an email from Vendio customer support that said:
"Each time the item is automatically relisted by eBay for an additional 30 days,
Vendio charges you for listing that item."
Which is totally different that what you just stated. Which is correct? Are we charged a 20 cent listing fee from Vendio every 30 days when an item re-news itself in an ebay store? Because that is what customer service emailed me. Please explain. Thanks!
Sorry for the confusion. You will eventually be charged $.20 for an eBay Stores renewal. This is outlined in our fees policy. However, you will not find any current charges for renewals on your statement as we are still working on the implementation. The charge helps cover our cost for the API call involved with renewing the item information.

This is the first I have heard of this. Is this standard on all plans?

This makes no sense......we are only charged 5 cents to launch a new listing but 20 cents to renew?.......where's the logic?......guess it's better not to use the good til cancelled but to end and relist every 30 days......

One more thing......is this charge going to apply to automatic relist of auction items as well.....or just the store items?

Could someone from Vendio please clarify this charge? Is it charged across the board on all plans, or is it limited to specific plans?

Hello all,
Per our fees policy, there is a listing fee charge for GTC item renewals. The listing fee will depend on whatever payment plan you are using. If you are on the Power Flat plan, the listing fee will be $.10. If you are on the Standard plan, the listing fee will be $.10. If you are on the Premium Flat plan, the carge will be $.20. The charge for GTC renewal is a standard listing fee for whatever plan you are on. Again, we are not currently charging fees for GTC renewals, however since this is outlined in our fees policy we will likely implement this in the future.
I hope this helps clarify the issue. Please feel free to review our Fees Policy here (the section that covers this is 1.5)

Exactly when is this going to be implemented?
I have posted several times before that I would like to be able to use Vendio stores, but until they are updated so the listings can look more presentable I am not moving anything there.
I totally disagree with this surcharge for GTC. It's no different than doing a relist; I am on the Variable Power Plan, and if this is indeed the case you can bet I will find another auction management company. Enough is enough. You take a percentage of everything that sells, plus I pay a nice flat fee every month; I will not pay for GTC to be relisted when I do not pay any other per listing fees.

Hello wgm,
I am sorry for the confusion. You are on a Variable rate plan, which has no listing fees. Thus, you will not be charged anything when an eBay Store item renews.

Hi Diana, and thank you for clarifying the policy.
I have been working incredibly hard to get things lined up for my Vendio store, as well as revamp eBay listings and store to minimize the impact of their fee increase as much as I can...so I panicked when I read this.
I do appreciate your reply
