I was part of the pilot program; however, I don't think I'll continue with Vendio just because of the fees.
I don't make enough from storefront purchases to justify the cost.
Does anyone else have suggestions/comments. I really do not know what to do. I'm very happy with Vendio; however, I'm not sure the web hosting is necessary for my business (or worth the cost).
Look forward to hearing from anyone else with input...

I also was looking for more information on the Web Hosting, I was looking to find out if the Web Hosting just hosts your web site that you currently have..........or does it give you the tools to make a web site.
Or do I need to have my own web site and then Vendio Web Hosting will Host it.
My interest on a webhost forum was to share ideas on how to implement a web site and how to do a webstore.
MY DREAM was to have a web store like the vendio stores, but at my www.myname.com , integrated with Vendio Sales manager Pro and eventually with Vendio Customer Manager

The webhosting formum is,indeed, coming very soon.
To briefly answer a couple of the questions raised here so far.
You do not need to already have a website to use Vendio WebHosting. Vendio WebHosting provides you the storage and tools to build and host your site with Vendio.

It is possible to use your current domain name with the current Vendio Stores. You can have your domain service do what is called a redirect so that when people click on www.yourname.com they will be taken to your Vendio store, which is of course integrated with Sales Manager and Customer Manager.
The ultimate dream for some is of course to have a fully customizable website/store that is integrated with the sales management tools. Vendio WebHosting is the first step toward that, but does not yet integrate with the Sales Management tools.
Like I said though, you could ask your domain service and get the redirect so that you can start sending out and publishing www.yourname.com so that that address is what your customers will hopefully bookmark and remember.

Can you also tell me if Vendio would put my web site into search engines, or is that something that I need to do on my own once my web site is made and hosted by Vendio?
I'm not completely sure abour how that will be structured. I think your domain name may be submitted to some search engines as part of setting up your domain.
This would be a good question to submit through the contact us form.
