I'm trying to set up my account for the new checkout,and I need a couple of clarifications:
Under shipping and insurance setting will the values I put for shipping work for every auction I have ? in my auctions and ebay store, I have diffrent shipping rate for different items ?
-if I set vendio to send WBN, wouldn't it create duplicate emails. One WBN from ebay and one WBN from vendio ?
The carriers and the costs that you enter in the global Shipping and Insurance setting will be prefilled in new ads that you create. This is done for convenience and effiency to the extent that you can use consistent Carriers and Costs. If you offer different settings for different items, you can edit those individual values as you create your items.
It will not overwrite the values that are already in your listings.
I am not totally clear what you are asking in your second question, but I think you want to be able to provide different shipping options for different items, including differentiating between eBay Store Items and Auctions. You can definately do this in the way I just mentioned.
Regarding the WBN, we recommend that you use checkout redirect, and not use the eBay WBN so that you can get your buyers to come through your Vendio checkout. This way you can upsell them your other items and handle all sales processing and commmunication in one place.
It sounds like you have already read it, but the Transition Guide in the Announcments section has some more information on this as well.
