I'm listing my first new auctions since the change happened and my images are super-sized instead of regular. What's going on? Do I have to do something about that also? Come on, Vendio!!!!

Hello,
There was an issue with this setting related to the preference changes that were made -- it has since been resolved. What you'll need to do now is go to My Account > Global Preferences and re-check the image resize option. Then if you have anything in pending, detach the images and reattach them so that the resize option is there.

Exactly the same issue here! Here is my question. Since I went into My Account & fixed the setting, will it "fix" all of the auctions that I listed today?

Looks like Sonya is gone Local. You will need to attach images to your listings AFTER you recheck your preferences. If you created the listings before and attached images, you will need to unschedule, "x" the images to detach, then reattach and re-schedule.

Our apologies for the issue, engineering has been notified of this error and will work quickly to correct it.
For now, log into your Vendio account and visit the My Account page. From here, click on the Global Preferences link found within and visit the Item Listing Options section. Check the box to enable automatic resizing of your images and click to save the change.
Again, we apologize for this error and hope to have it correctly as quickly as possible.

Um, HOW am I supposed to fix mine? I have a CUSTOM TEMPLATE. Images are FIXED SMALL SIZE coded within the template.
Suddenly, they are now HUGE.

HOW am I supposed to fix that? Image re-size in global has nothing to do with a custom template.
Please see if enginering can fix it as engineering did the template.

I have a custom template too. I also have lots of images on my ads and I just lauched about 20 of them.
Are you telling me that I have to go into EVERY ad and delete the pictures and then readd them somehow?!?!?!?!
How about a little more instruction than that? You could have put out a warning so we did launch and give ourselves headaches.

DITTO. I just launched a bunch of auctions (I end most on Sunday, so just listed a bunch of 7 days)
It is NOT fixed. All my listings launches with images that are TOO large and now the whole listing is skewed off the page and buyers will have to scroll.
I have NO idea how to even go in and edit the pictures. Not a clue. I am html illiterate which is why I choose to PAY for a service to do such things.
sigh.

Hi!
I figured out how to change a couple of them, but got a big "warning, account will be deleted if you alter the html" when I used the "ATTACH" feature at vendio.
So, I only did it for a few items. The rest, I will have to END and then relist when engineering has it fixed.

I can't find where the images are here to fix them. Plus, the vendio attach page says you can't alter the html. Well, I HAVE to alter the html because I can't have all the advertising mumbo jumbo in Ebay listings.

I think they mean you can't alter the HTML to use the images for another purpose. I am pretty sure you can alter to make the images fit your listings.

When you say you can't find the images here do you mean in Vendio? You can right click on the image and select properties and get the vendio location to plug into the search in image hosting to find so you can attach them. The part of the image locations your would use in the search for 5584048941 are: pdsheercreaseandeyecolor and pdsheercreaseandisland.
I would think Vendio would forgive you for leaving out all the ad coding (I have done it before) since that is the way they are supposed to appear in the FIRST PLACE!!!
I think you have figured out the only way to fix ads that are already running Lori!

1) Change your global preferences to make images smaller.
2) go to Image Hosting
3) find your image
4) check "attach" box
5) when image appears make sure it is click to enlarge
6) indicate "other auction site" from the drop down box to generate HMTL & press continue
6) copy the HTML
7) revise your auction thru ebay replacing the new HTML for the HTML in the auction

Thanks Neglus  I would think they would forgive the "altering" of the code in a case like this.
The trouble finding the images part......I mean IN the actual HTML of my listings. The code is LONG and my templates have a lot of graphic images. VERY hard to find where the product image is. I'll keep trying to plug away at it, though, lol!

Thanks Neglus! You are always so helpful. I was able to do it on one, but that is too much work, since I usually have several photos in each auction! But I appreciate your help & good directions.
I guess I'll live with the auctions as they are with the jumbo photos & just change those that are totally ridiculous.
I think Vendio should come up with a programmatic solution, but doubt that will happen. At least they are only 7 day auctions.
