I have not a clue what the *%%( is going on yesterday and today. I have customers checking out from ebay auctions that are now being overcharged for shipping. At first, they would checkout and their shipping prefference was not sellected. No problem, I just unchecked their checkout and sellected the shipping using the amount they paid as a guide figure out what shipping method they sellected. I emailed Vendio and they told me they were using Paypal to checkout. I don't know what that has to do with anything??? I thought ebay, paypal, and vendio were fully intergrated. But fine, I can work around it. Tonight I have people checking out and being charged $3-4 to much for shipping. I had one guy pay with paypal, the paypal payment notification shows payment for Parcel Post shipping was $9.46, it should have been $6.71. When I went in and unchecked the checkout, as shipping sellections he could have chose Parcel Post for $6.71 or Priority Mail for $8.15. Where the *&&^ did this $9.46 come from. I'm so confused I don't know what happened, but it's getting very complicated and now I'm spending alot of time making partial paypal refunds for overpayment of shipping charges. HELP

I had this happen too. Check out your auctions through the revisions page and see if the "Irregular/unusual packaging" box is checked.
There has indeed been an issue, with "Irregular/unusual packaging" set in error on listings that use eBay checkout with the calculated shipping option.
The issue has been fixed as of Tuesday morning. Listings launched after this date show accurate shipping charges. Listings launched before need, indeed, to be revised.

Grhhhhhhhhhhh, more problems and pissed off customers that will probably never come back. A large part of my sales use to be repeat customers. I have noticed that many of them are not coming back anymore and that I get overrun with email's about my checkout system that sucks and that they have had it and will not return. Once again more lost sales Would be nice if they got everything fixed before I loose all my customers and have no more sales, which will of course mean NO MONEY FOR VENDIO.

Now my customers are being overcharged and I don't have "irregular" packages. I have over 800 ebay auctions going. Are all of these going to be overcharged?
Edited to add this information:
See ebay 7151970415. The customer was charged $3 for shipping. However, when the item was created it was supposed to be $2.75. I went in to relist it and the relist is showing $2.75.
How do I fix this?

Hello VintageAds4U,
On item 7151970415 your buyer selected Direct Credit card via Verisign as their payment option, but in their notes to you they indicate that they had trouble getting the card to be accepted.
In the end they went to paypal directly and manually submitted payment instead of going through the Vendio checkout, so this additional 25 cents was simplyt user error.
"Is that why ebay checkout shows $3 instead of $2.75?"
No, that is why the amount they paid didnt match what Vendio listed as the actual cost of the item. In other terms, Vendio didnt overcharge for shipping on this item, there simply wasnt matching eBay and Vendio shipping costs listed when this item was launched and while they went through the Vendio checkout and selected the $2.75 option you had available here - they ended up going to eBay checkout as well and paid with PayPal where your shipping cost was listed as $3.00.
The item appears to have been launched well before any of the new checkout tools were made available, so it is possible that while you had $2.75 listed as the shipping cost for the Vendio checkout tools, you may have had a different cost listed for the eBay checkout when this item was launched.
This is no longer possible on a going forward basis now that we only offer one location to list these prices.
EDITED TO ADD:
After working on a separate thread you have here in the MC about the same issue, we have noticed that the costs do not appear to match as your items never specified eBay specific checkout information in the first place, so eBay just used whatever you had set as defaults in their system. If your defaults have since changed, eBay will use those now for anything where you didnt specify specifically what the cost would be through their checkout system.
Regards,
Christopher
