Last night I set up an auction to launch at 10 PM. Woke up this morning to NO auction launched and an error message for the item. Says you didn't get an email from eBay verifying the launch.
Well, you didn't get the email because it didn't launch! There was nothing wrong with the listing....it just didn't launch!
Is ANYTHING in Vendio working correctly? Prior to the *enhancements*, I didn't have to babysit each auction from launch through closing.

Hello,
I checked your account and you've got an item in pending scheduled -- is that the one? The other one looks like a template. Everything is working properly, there are just some transitional issues that usually come when something is changed. The bugs that have occurred since the new release have all been fixed.

Sonya

The item in question is now in pending. I set it to launch last night. Once I saw (this morning) that it had not launched, I moved it to pending so that it would not start in the middle of the night. So, yes....it's sitting in pending.

Judi-
The only listing in the pending is the template (now). Did you launch the other?
Also, fyi, sometimes (and this is a really really rare case) the eBay and Vendio servers glitch while they're talking to each other. When this happens, the auctions sits in the pending with no error message or the error : did not launch at eBay.
To fix it, just submit the auction again and it will go right through. Maybe this is what happened to your item but it's hard to tell without seeing it first hand.
Best Regards,

Thanks Darin
I did resubmit the auction today. I didn't resubmit at 4:30 AM EST when I found out that it hadn't launched, because I didn't want it to start in the middle of the night.
For the time being, I'll start my auctions while I'm up to watch them to make sure this doesn't happen again.
Again, thanks for your response.

Since the site changes, almost every time I launch a bunch of auctions, I have a least one or two that don't launch and give the same error (not able to verify launch). This did not happen prior to the site changes, so I'm thinking, maybe, just maybe, this is a problem on Vendio's end....what da ya think?!?

Nearly every night I have the same thing happen to some of my scheduled auctions - error with message that launch not confirmed with ebay (a check shows auction was not launched). This has only started happening with any regularity since the big changes.

I am trying to move 100 items from pending to my store right now and there are three that "errored out". I will leave them there so you can look at them.
UPDATE: 4 more items errored out tonight - there are now 7 items in my PENDING file that have errored out and not launched.

I looked at your errors and saw the message. I think Darin was correct above about the fact that sometimes there are communication problems between eBay and Vendio during the submission process. Give this error, I would think the issue is on eBays end in this case. Can you try to resubmit them? I did an eBay preview and got no error, so they should submit properly if you try again.
Best,
Abe

Make sure you check each one to determine if it launched to ebay or not.
I had about three error out today. One actually had launched the other two had not.
Pain to have to check but better safe than sorry if you sell two and you only have one.

Strange that we have this problem happening ALL the time since new Vendio changes were implemented and not before though....did ebay implement major changes that would cause this at the same time?

Hello,
Our apologies for not updating this thread with this information, as we do have a note in to the engineering team to check into a possible issue with verifying launches.
When more information is available we will try to post back to each of the threads that mention this issue.
Regards,
Christopher
