I want to download all of my vendio 'image host' .jpg's onto my hard drive ... can you zip them up into several files and email them to me? ... or is there an easy way for me to do this?
If you have an older version of Pro you can get them downloaded to your hard drive easily. Do you use Pro? If you do then you won't be able to do this. If you don't I can send you an older version and help you get this done.

Hi Sonya ... thanks ... I sent a reply to you by email regarding this ... Pro 'installed' okay, and I found where to put my vendio user name and password in, but error comes up something like "Synch failed Please make sure that the values entered for Proxy Host and Port are correct" and that is way technical for me ... I have no idea what to type into the Proxy Host or Port box. wahhhhh. Please help. Thanks.
If you go to the Preferences icon in Pro you can double check and make sure that you don't have the proxy box checked off. Please check that area and do a synch again, if you continue to get this same error let me know.

HI sonya ... I still get this message, immediately, and the proxy box is 'unchecked':
"Warning!
Synchronization failed - Failure on sending to server
There is a problem with starting the sync process.
Please make sure that the values entered for Proxy Host and Port under the SMPro menu entry Edit > Preferences are correct.
If proxy settings are correct, please check the Announcements page on the Vendio site."

I got your email about this as well and have asked one of our Pro gurus to take a look and help you out with the error. I have noticed the proxy error is common with AOL but we should be able to resolve this fairly quickly.

Thanks Sonya and Radu! ... from things Radu mentioned, I decided on my own to disable the firewall, just long enough to try the synch again, and that worked, pronto.
It took 23 minutes to download my 742 jpg images, then I enabled the firewall right away ... I'll do a quick virus scan right now to make sure no one's bugs crawled in during the synch.
I'm pretty sure I'm good to go now ... I'll let you know if I have any more questions later.

I moved the files/folder to a new folder, and I cannot find exactly how to "uninstall" that old AMpro now ... my Start/Programs/Vendio folder flyout on WinXP does not give an 'uninstall' feature ...
You can do it from Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel. The control panel should be accessible through the Windows Start menu. I hope this helps!
