Hello,
When you first launched the International buyers option, if you did not have it checked it would NOT allow international buyers to check out. Which was good since they had to contact me and I had to correct the shipping to allow international check out.
For the last couple of days, buyers have been able to check out even if their address is out of the country, this is a problem since they pay domestic shipping and I have to send a PAYPAL request for additional shipping, they get angry even if I mention it all over my auction that shipping displayed is only domestic.

Why is it not working anymore??

and...

Any changes in the check out process where I don't have to specify one amount for each country if I do allow international shipping? The way it is, it is worthless to 99% of us. It is not possible to ship 1 pound for the same price across the world!

I agree. Same thing here. We are getting a lot of international customers only paying the US rate. And when you have the custom links for additional international shipping quotes, it is coming up other international and still not right.

Example, on the international, we use the three custom boxes. One for Canada, one for Europe and one for Japan. At checkout on Ebay, the customer is getting "other international rate" and paying with the first one listed. So someone in Japan gets the invoice through Ebay and sees the one international rate (even though we had three custom fields checked) and they proceed to pay. Thus we are shorted on postage and have to refund the payment and send out a correct invoice.

Another problem is with US flat rate we use. Ebay has a Standard Flat Rate line in their postage. On Vendio, you have to use other and it throws off the invoice. When we go to invoice the customer through Ebay we have to go and select standard flat rate US and the postage required.

Wish they left it like it was before.

Hello,

Charlotts -- do you use Sales Manager Pro to list? If you do, since Pro doesn't yet contain the sectional breakdown of domestic and international shipping, all shipping options get shown to all customers who checkout -- regardless of their location. If you do not list through Pro, please give us some sample item numbers so we can investigate further. Also, we'll be coming out with calculated shipping for international shipping options (USPS and UPS) soon, so you won't have to deal with flat rates anymore.

Bluroks -- do you list using Sales Manager Pro or online? Regarding international shipping, at the moment we only support one 'other' carrier for international shipping (additionally, eBay has the limitation where they support 3 'other' carriers but they have to be specific regions such as worldwide, Europe, Americas, etc). If you can use the other pre-set fields this will help until we have international calculated shipping out, which will allow you to use one 'other' field but make it general, since the shipping will end up being calculated anyway. Regarding the US rates, if you use 'other' fields you have to use something that eBay offers or its going to come out with a generic result. You might want to change your 'other' entry to match exactly what eBay's got for Standard Flat Rate.

Regards,

Sonya

Ditto. My international buyers have complained. I entered their shipping options, yet when they checkout, there are no options.
Here is an example: Item # 7328412388

Hi Local,

Item 7328412388 only has one option (USPS Priority) selected for payment, and it is in domestic shipping. In order to offer international shipping, you will need to check off the 'offer international shipping' box and enter some values into there. You can do this on an individual auction basis, or as a default in Global Preferences.

Sonya

Sonya: I have a Canadian buyer who can't check out. It is this combined purchase:
eBay 4541508718, 4538501173, 4549415068

He is getting this message: no shipping method.

I checked and all have international shipping. I tried the checkout link and couldn't get Canadian shipping either. However, it shows up on the Checkout option.

Help please.
Beth

Hello Beth,

I checked your order and all the items within it have international shipping offered, but the WBN for the order itself does not. Did you combine this yourself or did the customer combine it? Were these items listed from online or from Sales Manager Pro? If you edit the WBN for the actual order and check off the international shipping section (and input your options) then your customer can check out of the order.

Regards,

Sonya

I sent him a paypal invoice and he paid it already. That did not show up tho.
