I've noticed lately that when I relaunch an item, or copy it, and then edit it, Sales Manager doesn't show that there are any images attached, even though they are there.
When I display a preview, the images show up, but they do not appear in the image selection area.
This makes it hard to know if they will be there correctly when I launch and also hard to verify that the desired file is the one in use.
You can see an example by looking at my pending item for BELKIN OmniView.
The item you reference has the images attached to it -- did you change anything? What is the original item number for this, we'll test it to see if we can replicate. I tested this by relisting items in my own account, and my look at the 'edit' screen showed the attached images.

Yes this is still happening.
Look at my pending item for "Belkin". When I bring it up to edit it , nothing shows in the selected image section, exactly as though nothing was attached. But if I do a Full Preview of the template, the pictures both show.
Same thing for "Black Leather Palm". The one for "Norton" shows the gallery image but not the regular attached. Same for "Southwest"
The selection area for all of them says "no images attached" yet they show up in the preview.

Thanks for your posts. I went into your account and looked at all of the pending listings your mentioned. I could see all the images, and they were attached. Also attached on preview.
The problem you have described may be related to a full browser cache. In order to clear the cache and free up system resources, please take the following steps:
In Internet Explorer, look under "Tools" in the top menu bar. Open "Internet Options", and the option to clear the cache will appear under "Temporary Internet Files" in the "General" menu. It is always a good idea to clear the History, as well.
In Netscape, look under "Edit" in the top toolbar, and open "Preferences". Click the box next to "Advanced", then "Cache". You will want to clear both the disk and memory cache.
If you are using AOL, first go to the 'Settings' button at the top of your AOL window. Click on it, then select 'Preferences' from the list. On the following window that comes up, click on the 'Internet Properties (WWW)' link. From here, delete your Temporary Internet Files, and click OK when finished.
You can also click the "refresh" or "reload" button on your browser toolbar while pressing the Shift key on your keyboard.

I must not be making myself clear.
I am talking about a problem in the "Select Images" section.
Under the label "Standard Images" it says "No images attached". Yet when I show the preview images are in fact attached.
This is not a browser cache problem, that would not account for the different text being displayed.
Since it says "no images attached" I also cannot see the little preview icons, I cannot identify which files it actually has attached, and I cannot reorder them.
I think were talking about the same thing.
If you havent already tried it, do as Bob mentions and simply clear the cache/temp files and see if that helps. We havent ran into anything quite like this before so I cant guarentee that doing so will correct it, but let us know one way or another and we'll continue to work with you to find a resolution.

I cleared my cache (memory and disk) and it still happens for me. Still says "(no images attached)" for that item.
My browser is Opera 8 . Has any Vendio coding for this page changed recently?
I am not aware of any coding changes that would have affected the Opera browser. Do you have IE on your computer? If you do, can you view your pending listings and let us know if you still have this problem?

Yes, I do have Internet Explorer.
When I view my pending listings in IE, the Attached Images section looks fine, the images show up.
We will need to check on whether Opera 8 is fully supported. It is not on our list of preferred browsers so you might want to stick with IE when working in Vendio for the time being.
I have not heard back yet on compatibility with Opera, unfortunately. I will post back when I have more information however since it isn't a fully supported browser, I am not sure what can be done.

interesting update:
A pending listing that I created today ("Stetson 4X" ) comes up ok - when I open it, all the attached images appear in the "Attached" images section.
A pending listing I created quite a while ago ("Southwest 12" ) still show the problem - the image is attached and shows up in the preview, but not in the "attached images" section.
maybe a clue here..
Or maybe whatever didn't change in the past hasn't changed again and it will stay working for me
