We have been having an ongoing problem now for the past couple of weeks. When a buyer checks out, shipping is at zero!! This is a huge problem for us!!! International is where we seem to be having the problem.
Please help!
I'm not sure why this would be happening, as it doesn't appear that you have the international section enabled in your preferences. Can you provide an item number so we can take a look? Did you have the international shipping section enabled at any time previously?

We use SMP, I have checked our preferences and I don't see anything regarding our international shipping not being selected. Where would this selection be...this is really wierd, we have not changed anything on shipping in years.
If you use SM Pro, please uncheck the international shipping section in your Global preferences, and continue to use the 4 shipping options in SM Pro. Pro is not yet updated to be compatible with the expanded shipping options online. We are working on this and expect it to be released shortly.

Diana, we have many oversea shipments now that have no shipping totals. Yes we use SMPro and if the international box is not checked and even if we put in international rates in the boxes provided in SMPro it DOES NOT show a shipping option in Checkout. Everyone at Vendio said international shippment box should be checked and now we did it and you say not to. We have used SMPro and our preferences for the last 2 years without changing anything, why is this happening. We need a fix quick!!
If you are using Pro, what was suggested by Diana is how to get around this until the new version of Pro is released. We know that this is not an optimal solution however it is the only way to get international shipping recognized on items created through Pro in Vendio Checkout, at this time. My previous comment about not checking off the international shipping box applied only if you created and launched through online Sales Manager -- for you, since you list through Pro, please leave it unchecked and follow the instructions Diana has left you and you should be fine.

Sonya, what you are suggesting is something that already was not working for us. We did not have international shipping checked in preferences (until I changed it yesterday as suggested) and we used the 4 shipping options in SMPro only. Somehow, with the new changes that you have made it does not allow any of the international buyers any option in checkout. I was looking recent threds from: "International Shipping Option Not Showing In WBN?? from: madhattermusicauctions" and they seem like they are having the same problem.
Currently, Sales Manager Pro does not support the expanded shipping options available online. If you are uploading listings from Sales Manager Pro, please UNCHECK the international shipping section in your Global Preferences online and continue to use the four shipping options available in SM Pro. If the international shipping option is checked off online, your international buyers will not see any shipping options when they try to check out.
You can work around this by uploading your listings in a scheduled state, unschedule them once uploaded, and edit each item and re-schedule online.
We are working on a new version of SM Pro that will support the expanded shipping options, but this is a complex change and it will not likely be available until mid-September.

You have to be F#$%$*#@ing kidding me!!! Do you mean to tell me after using Vendio for over 5 years that we cannot use Sales Manager Pro and have our international customers have checkouts that give them shipping. It is already hard enough dealiing with international customers, but working with this MAJOR BUG, has been horrible. You have to be also kidding me that we are going to go in and cancel and reschedule auctions and redo them individually...I have a better idea...fix this problem NOW. Mid Sept. is not an answer that you should be giving your valued customers. I am stopping by in person to your facility this week and I will not be leaving until I have an answer as to how this will be fixed.

Hello immages,
Our apologies for the confusion, nothing has actually changed for you in the Pro software.
You will still be using the blank two fields at the bottom of the Pro shipping section to enter your internation shipping costs as you have done in the past.
The only way international buyers would be unable to complete the checkout process with your items setup this way in Pro - is if you setup your online Global Preferences to use the new International Shipping options.
Items launched from Pro while the online preferences are setup to use the new online international options will only allow domestic buyers to complete the checkout process - unless you edit the items while active, or once closed to add the international shipping costs into the newly provided section.
Again, if you keep the online prefernces setup NOT to use the new international section, you can continue using Pro as you have all along for your domestic and international shipping.

I have switched off "offer international shipping" in shipping carriers in preferences. We will continue to use SMP using the last two boxes for international shipping....
....but this is going to put us right back to where we were when I started this thread. When we did everything you are stating before and our international customers did not have an option for shipping. Unless something has been fixed or changed on your end I am afraid we are still going to have very unhappy international cusotmers and big headaches on our end.

If those items were launched before you changed your preferences, the international options will not appear. You should be able to fix this by editing and resending the WBN.
I'm confused as to why your international buyers didn't have any international options before. If you are using the 4 fields in SM Pro, and you don't have the international section enabled in your Global Preferences, then *all* buyers - domestic AND international - should be able to see all 4 options when they checkout.
If you have an example item where the international options were not presented during checkout and the international section in Global Preferences was NOT enabled when the item was launched, please let us know.
