I copied and pasted this thread from the Ebay forum to see if I could get help through here as suggested from someone who responded.

Does anyone have experience printing postage from Vendio. I am registered with Endicia and Stamps.com and can't get either one to work. I have been on live chat and emailed customer service and still can't print postage. Right now I could have taken 25 packages to the post office in separate trips and waited in line each time and been faster than Sales Manager.

Endicia is requiring a special XML export and then an import into Endicia, which in turn requires another export. This is not integration. The postage rates are also wrong.

Stamps.com appears to give me what I need but says it doesn't have the printer set up. I did this with tech support from Stamps.com to verify that I did it right (which I did). They said Vendio is not communicating with them correctly.

Is everyone experinecing these problems or is it just me? If you can help I would appreciate it. Customer service is not very responsive on this issue.

That is what I used to use as well as Ebay/Pitney Bowes shipping service. It was my understanding that Vendio does that much faster. That is one way I am hoping to save time, allowing me to do more listings. This in turn would allow me to make more money and justify the extra expense of Vendio or other similar programs.

I just got off a chat with Bob. Nobody in tech support knows how the postage part of the program works. If there is someone that has experience with this I would appreciate any help you have to offer.

All the postage part do is give you the link to Stamp.com , realy no need to go this way as you can open stamp.com in a saparate window and work this way.

Hello Texastp,

We were unsure of some settings and needed to doublecheck -- I've just sent you an email, please check your inbox.

I too have tried the link thru Vendio to print USPS postage with Endicia. It does not work! I have a system that seems WAY faster. If you go to the post sale item you want to ship, highlight with your mouse the buyers address (with endicia program open) It will put that address into the Endicia and you just pick your type of postage and print it. I then just copy and paste the tracking and put it into the tracking box on the post sale page for that item and email that the item has shipped. It seems to me to be pretty quick but if anyone out there has a faster method I'd love to hear it.

Sonya, I got your email and appreciate it. I entered the printer as you stated in your email. I deleted all my inventory and uninstalled SM Pro from my hard drive. I was changing my global preferences when I saw something about the printer and followed the instructions and solved the problem, I think, using stamps.com. I am now torn between using Vendio or Ebay's SM Pro. I am interested in the post from cococgld and am going to check it out. I was disappointed in the fact that the tech support staff didn't know what was going on and didn't seem very interested in solving the problem.

cococgld,

Thanks for the tip. I will try that and see if it will work for me. Sounds good.

Hi Davebraun,

Yes, we support any printer that Stamps.com supports. This includes Zebra and Eltron thermal printers that are capable of printing 4x6 labels. For more help on Zebra printers, please visit this page on stamps.com:
