All of my images are too big on my auctions. My other Vendio ID, I do not have this problem. The template that I use makes no difference. I format, upload and resize all of my images the same. Ebay customers have to side-scroll to see images or text. Any ideas? Thanks alot!

Hello,

I checked your settings and you do not have image resizing enabled -- if you turned this on, your images inserted in your listings will be resized (linking to the original big-sized versions).

The "click to view larger version" option may be enabled by following these steps:

-Go to My Account -> Global Preferences
-Go to Item Listing Options
-Check the box for "Automatically scale down large images for faster download and cleaner presentation"
-Click "Save Preferences"

Please be aware that automatic resizing will -only- be activated if an image is over 250 pixels wide. If your image is 250 pixels wide or smaller, there will be no "click to view larger version" option on your auction listing.

Also note that you must copy and paste all of the code generated by our system into your auction if you are using image hosting only in order to take advantage of this feature.

Regards,

Sonya

I have been able to clear up the fuzzy images, but nothing I do can reduce the size of the Vendio launching page for eBay auctions. The too-big page causes the images to be larger and slows down uploading. It also causes eBay customers to have to scan back and forth to see the whole eBay auction and to view the image when they click to enlarge it. Isn't there something you can do to restore the auction manager launching page to normal size to fit the screen ?? It was just fine until this week when it suddenly showed up supersized with no explanation! I did not change my settings in any way, form, or fashion. Please return the page to normal screen size. It is slowing down my launchings and costing me business! Thanks.

Hello blarneystones,

You have your images setup to resize automatically. Upon checking a number of your listings, we were unable to locate any that required one to scroll to view the page.

If this is only happening on a specific item, please let us know the item number to check into further.

Regards,
Christopher

Christopher--- So far you folks have been no help at all. I just launched an auction on eBay that perfectly demonstrates my problems (See #5019270374: Slender Picture Jasper). The images are slightly out of focus and fuzzy. The page is too big to see on eBay without scrolling back and forth. Enlarge one of the images and you will get a HUGE image that can be viewed only by scrolling sideways and up and down! HELP!!!!!!

blarney - I don't have to scroll to see your listing. I wonder if somehow your own monitor settings got reset so that YOU see things humongous?? Try holding down the "ctrl" key and striking the "minus" key and see if your view improves? However the "click to enlarge" view IS huge on my monitor too.

Hi there,

Ahh, I see what you're saying, the click to enlarge images are too big. Ok, these will need to be smaller upon upload. The click to enlarge feature, enlarges the image to the exact size as when the image was uploaded. We do not enlarge the images any larger then how they appear on your computer. I would suggest using a smaller resolution size when taking the pictures, then when the images are viewed on a computer, they won't seem so large. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!

Bob
