My user ID is also my business name, however my personal name is on my account. I dont' get a lot of checks, but my bank has told me they can no longer deposit checks to my business account if they're written to me personally. How can I change the info provided when a buyer chooses check or mo as the payment method? The address and everything else will remain the same.
To have your name change you should go to My Account > Personal Info and change the First and last name to your company name. Your company name will then appear as the 'payable to' name.
That is correct, that is exactly how you would format this field.
If you had a single word company name you would enter it into the first name field and put a period in the last name field. If you ever change your name or want to spell it all in one word, that is how you would want to format the field.
