Just a couple things...
There is no easy way to list a copy rather than a relist of an item that ended in no sale. That's fine if the item has only run once and is eligible for a listing fee credit if it sells. However, if it is no longer eligible you ought to automatically list it as a copy... so that if that auction is relisted it will be eligible for the credit.

The other thing is that it causes problems when vendio relists by resubmitting the original auction info. Corrections and additions to listings that were made after the original launch are omitted this way. That doesn't happen if I do the relist from an ebay page, but then I have to import the listing and don't have counters.

Hello,

Items that are 'copies' should show as copy when you relist or 'relist (non refundable)' if they are beyond eBay's credit period.

Do you regularly edit your items after they are launched? The relist feature in Vendio relists the item as it was originally launched.

Sonya

If I list an item twice with no sale, and relist it again through vendio, it comes up as relist(non refundable) regardless of the time period. In order for it to be eligible for a credit on the fourth relist, the third one has to be submitted as a fresh listing or copy, not a relist. There is no easy way to do this manually. When I choose an item from ended sales there is no way to make it a copy. In My eBay, you have an option. The only way to do it here is to choose relist and save without launching, then to select that one in pending and make a copy. It's a pain.

I don't edit items after launching "regularly", but sometimes I list without measurements so that the item ends when I want it to, then I go back in and add them. Or, I notice an error in the listing and correct it. Or, potential buyers ask questions and I edit with the information. It's easy to get the wrong pic in gallery and I go in and change it. Then weeks later when I relist the item gets put up without the corrections. What purpose is there to relisting as the item was originally launched? eBay relists items as they were when they ended.

Hello,

Please note that eBay has changed their policy on relists about a year or more back.

You are only qualified to get credit on the first relist of an unsold item. If you were to list direct from eBay you would never qualify for credit again.

When you relist from Vendio, we will submit the item anew every other listing for you, so you will always qualify for credit on each 'relist' of an unsold item.

Christopher

Thank you! I'm glad to know you do that. You missed my point about ebay though. When you relist from My eBay you are given a choice of "relist" or "list similar" (or something like that) so that you don't lose out on the potential credit.

please clarify .. if I relist and it shows "copy " or " non refundable" VD starts that as a new listing and then if it doesn't sell and is relisted it is refundable.

also if I relist another item identical that sells (have multiples of same item) does that count as a new listing -it shows as copy.

thanks in advance
