Hello,
Is it possible to allow eBay customers the ability to enter thir credit card info post sale so that I can process these credit cards using my merchant account? I am initially considering doing this manually, I just need a way fort he users to get the card numbers to me.

Hello,
Our checkout system is secure. There is a "message to seller" box where you can have customers input their credit card numbers.
If you enable the Direct Offline Processing option in Global Preferences for credit cards, you can put instructions in the text box for customers on how to proceed with getting you their credit card information. If you feel comfortable with them calling you, you can put in a phone number as well.
Who do you use as your merchant, out of curiosity?

Thanks for the response. Regarding your question, my merchant account is with Bank of America.
So, in terms of providing instructions to my customers to get their CC info to me, what exactly should I tell them? Is there a way to put a field into the order form so that this can be included with the order? How do other people deal with this?

Hello,
Some people put their phone numbers and have customers call. Or if your merchant has a secure server you can put the URL in it. At this time, we are only fully integrated with Verisign (you get a page for credit card orders).

Hi there,
The "message to seller" box appears during checkout - your buyer will see the box when they check out. You can put instructions in your checkout message for buyers to enter their credit card information in this box (if they feel comfortable doing that.)

If we change our payment gateway to Verisign, do we have to do it through your site? I'm not sure what a "pay flow pro" account is. Can you clarify?
