A Winning Bid Notification E-mail just went out for a fixed price listing that happened on 9/30.
I always thought they went out right after the purchase.
Why is it taking so long?
In this case my customer has already paid and I have already shipped it to him.
This makes it very confusing for my customers.
Please make sure these are sent out in a timely fashion.

Hi there,

Was the closed listing appearing in post-sale with step #1 checked off when the WBN went out, or is it possible that the listing hadn't dropped to closed? Sometimes we do not receive a notification from eBay telling us about a multiple fixed-price item sale, sot the item remains in active until we receive the notification or you refresh the active listing.

Thanks,

Diana

The item was purchased from our EBay store.
So that might be why it took so long.
