This is the third time this week I have had this same problem with the checkout system. Each time I have had an international buyer and I have had to go into the checkout and manually put the correct shipping to the UK in my checkout box and then send them the new checkout email. However, when the buyer tries to checkout, they are unable to do so as the Vendio check out is showing no shipping carrier selected. Even though I have manual put it in and it is saved!! Cannot figure out what the problem is, but it is terribly frustrating for my buyers and my self.

I tried to work around this issue by sending each buyer an invoice directly through Ebay as I thought that would be fine. No, that did not work either. Each time when the buyer tried to check out directly through ebay it shows no shipping carrier. I believe this is related to the "redirect" checkout I set up in Vendio. So the ebay invoices are going right back into Vendio checkout. Please help me! I am trying to get an invoice to a buyer of this auction # 8341135716 and also another buyer of this # 8343135970. Very frustrating for all parties involved. I have never had this problem before I changed to "re-direct" my checkout to Vendio. Sounds like some sort of a glitch. Help!!!

Hi there margar,

In order to offer shipping to international customers, you have to have the international shipping section enabled. I have checked your global preferences and you do not have international shipping enabled.

If you are launching from Sales Manager online, you should enable the international section in Global Preferences, then edit your existing listings to add this section so your international buyers can checkout (the Global Pref update will only apply to listings you create *after* you make the change).

Let us know if you are launching from SM Pro, and we'll tell you how to proceed.

To enable the international section in your closed listing, edit the WBN, and click the checkbox under the shipping options.

Thanks,

Diana

Diana thank you for the response. However, I am a little confused on this issue..... I have not changed anything in my global preferences so I am not sure why I am having this problem currently. The preferences have been set the same way for years. I just went into my global preferences and I see that I have listed in one of the shipping option boxes that I have checked "INTERNATIONAL RATES - EMAIL ME". There is no shipping cost in the box due to the fact that it would have to be a custom price for the international shipping as the country/cost will vary. You are correct, I do not have the "offer international shipping" box checked off as then I would be required to put an actual price in that field and I do not have one. Each country would be different. I suppose I could use a flat international rate - but they vary so much in cost depending on each country. Not sure what other people do in this case????

The odd thing is this is the way I have been doing it for years. Now suddenly I am having problems with this international shipping issue. The only thing that I have done different is that I have changed my preferences to indicate the ebay to do the "redirect" checkout. I think this is the problem.

Thank you for telling me about not having the tiny box checked "offer international shipping". Is that new? I swear I never saw that before! Or possibly just finally loosing it - lol!
