Hello, I sell several hundred items per month and I think that it would be extremly helpful if Vendio would add a search box so that it would make it easier for sellers to search their inventory instead of reading line by line, page by page. I often have at least 5 pages at a time and it is very teadeous when I am trying to find an item that Ebay no longer has stored in their database. Is this something that could be done. I am sure all users would benefit from this. Thanks, Jim

Hello,

Both SMME and SMIE have search fields -- the SMIE search is better, but it is possible to search by title in both. Have you tried the inventory search fields? It is to your right, above your list of items.

I don't know what those abbreviations are but I don't find a search either. When I asked last I was told they were thinking about adding one. I've got almost 5000 listings and waste a lot of time trying to find certain ones to delete or list.

I would also like the option to delete the accompanying photos automatically when something sells and is deleted. Takes even more time searching through the tiny thumbnails to find just to delete.

Hello,

We are working on a search field for active, pending and closed listings. I will add a suggestion for photo deletion along with items as well.

Sonya

Pending is most important. Active we can use eBay search. Closed would be easier if items won were separate from those that did not sell. Once I spend time transferring all the ones that didn't sell to pending the rest is manageable without a search. These would be nice, but given a choice a search for pending would be nice if done tonight! I've been through them 5 times and can't find 2 I know are there.

Yes to photo deletion, I spend literally hours trying to find the ones to be deleted. Mainly because there is no true numeric or alphabetic order to them. Plus there is no reason to go through that is it can be done at the same time items are deleted after feedback received.

Thanks!!

"Both SMME and SMIE have search fields -- the SMIE search is better"

SMME = Sales Manager Merchandising Edition

SMIE = Sales Manager Inventory Edition

I have been waiting for a usuable search for my ended listings since I started with Vendio some three years ago.

I have tens of thousands of ended items and cannot search them.

The only way I ever found something is to somehow know the exact title. That is about impossible.

I would love a search that works.

Are you trying to find a search for SOLD or UNSOLD items? Don't use the Control Panel - there is a great SEARCH feature in Vendio "Post Sale" for sold items. (I never use Control Panel "closed" as it does not separate sold from unsolds and has no search)

I have learned to keep my unsolds sorted by date so I can easily find them in "post sale" ->"unsold" by using "CTRL" "f" and typing one of the words in the "find" box. I don't archive.

I used to look in Post Sale for items and the search would never (99%) of the time give me what I was looking for.

I would know several of the words from the title, but it never gave me what I was looking for. It was a complete joke.

I now use the Annual listing plan which does not have post sale functionality.

There should be a search on closed items. You search items to list more, which puts more money in Vendio's pocket.

Again, there should be a search on closed items...
