As I have read in the eBay powerseller boards one way of trying to raise profit and decrease fees is to take advantage of eBay's second chance offers. The problem here is that this now takes me out of vendio and tracking, applying payment, generating feedback etc etc can't be done thru Vendio... or can it? Any help would be appreciated.
We do not yet support Second Chance offers, however this is on our list of upcoming features. In the meantime, you can use the Import tool in Sales Manager to bring in Second Chance items. The key is to import after you make the second chance offer, so that it is in your account after the buyer purchases it. You can use all post sale tools with it.

I hope Vendio makes this a big focus of the new revisions. The current method of importing 2nd Chance Offers into Vendio is extremely cumbersome, requiring you to first wait for all your 2nd chance offers to be imported, then re-enter all your shipping options, including weight, etc. (at least, you have to do this if you don't enter separate shipping costs for eBay when you originally listed the item--I only enter them into Vendio). You also have to go in and manually turn on WBNs.
The worst part is that if a buyer accepts the offer before it's imported into Vendio and you've had a chance to re-enter all your shipping info., if the buyer checks out he/she won't pay ANY shipping costs at all, and you have to hope they'll understand and pony them up later.
With the current system, it's such a pain in the you-know-what that I rarely send 2nd chance offers anymore, even though I used to make a lot of extra money with 2nd chance offers before I got too sick of dealing Vendio's "work-around."

Awesome! Thanks, Sonya. I'm counting the days...
Please, oh please let it come out in time to catch the Christmas craze...I'm rubbing my hands together imagining all the extra money I could make from crazed last minute shoppers who miss out on the win the 1st time around, but would snatch up a 2nd chance offer in a heartbeat!!
