Had an auction end earlier today, buyer paid using paypal and the notice from Paypal shows he paid for the auction + the S&H.
But the amount of the payment that showed up in Vendio is incorrect - it does not show the S&H. So my post-sale shows him with a blance due when in fact he paid the correct balance.
A bug caused by the Paypal API changes??
I'll leave the post-sale as is for now so you can look, but I will need to fix it so that I can print a correct invoice.
The only item I see that closed on the 4th is 2005 SYMANTEC NORTON INTERNET SECURITY »New Retail Box«.
The buyer is shown as having paid with Paypal, including shipping, and there is no outstanding balance.
I'm not sure I completely understand your question, parts 1 and 2. If you are still having an issue, could you reiterate it and give me the name of the item you are referring to?

That's the item. I fixed it so I could print out an invoice. I was hoping you had some history on your side that you can look at.
The Paypal payment that auto-posted did not have the S&H. I deleted that payment and manually added the correct one.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. There were some changes made to the PayPal system on the 3rd/4th and there does appear to be a problem with importing and applying the shipping cost properly.
We have alerted the engineering team of this issue and will continue to work with you on getting this resolved asap. As soon as additional information becomes available we will post back to this thread.

Hello,
On 11.04 PayPal made some changes to their system and have since been missing the shipping costs in their data being sent to confirm payments.
On 11.08 they stated "The issue has been logged and I would expect a fix shortly if not already" - however no fix is in place thus far.
We are evaluating ways to possibly use this improperly formatted data to post the payments in post sale, but this may cause further issues above just PayPal getting this issue corrected on their end.
When more information is available we will post back to this thread.

How about posting an announcement telling everyone about the problem, and then another announcement when it is fixed??
That would be better than having everyone discover it on their own and having to stumble onto one of the threads like this one where you posted the message.
