All of my auctions were set to read "See Description" in the shipping column in the ebay search screens. Now they read "Not Specified". I don't know why they no longer read "See Description". Can someone please enlighten me as to why they all got changed, and explain what I can do to change it back. Thank you.

I looked into your account at the details of one of your items. You had chosen not to specify eBay shipping details in that particular listing.
On your eBay Site Specifics setting, you have also chosen to Not Specify your shipping costs to eBay. This is probably why eBay is displaying not specified.
How long ago did the message for your listings change? Did it really ever say See Item Description in the Shipping Cost column?
If you think items suddenly changed what they display in that column, can you please send me an example or two of items that did that?
Thank you for your reply. Please see my post of 9-13-05 in these same discussion boards: "Shipping Price appearing in ebay Search." I followed all of those instructions, and "See Description" has appeared in all of my listings ever since. Just today I noticed that ALL of my listings have been changed to "Not Specified". Yesterday all of these same listings read "See Description". I also noticed that ebay has added a little heading above the shipping price column which reads: "Shipping to USA (edit)". I think this is where the problem lies, but I don't know how to fix it.

Hello bajy,
You do have everything setup properly to how you would have been able to get the display to read 'see item description' but eBay must have changed this display again.
With the current settings it looks like the only variables for this section are 'not specified' - 'calculated' - or the actual cost of shipping for the item.
This unfortunately means that you would need to change to saying 'I am specifying shipping and payment details' for the eBay checkout section on the listing form.

Thank you for your help and advice, Christopher. I guess I will have to change my item specifics to using ebay checkout. If anything changes with Vendio so that we can change it back to using Vendio Checkout, please let us know.

I had the same problem. I set it up so it would say "see description" and now they just say not specified. Grrrr....
eBay's settings are just not flexible enough for certain situations and "see description" made a lot of sense.
eBay is making some new changes for how shipping is being displayed -- at the moment it looks like 'see description' is now being displayed as 'not specified.' We are currently investigating whether this is new intended behavior or a bug on their end. We will keep you posted.
