This is the first time I am trying out the Shipping Options section when listing. I do not use Vendio Checkout but would like the shipping to appear in eBay's search. So, I chose to enable the following in eBay site specifics and on the listing page..I am specifying Shipping Costs for eBay. Now, my problem is when I select a carrier, which is USPS and type in the amount..NEXT to that amount is is a place for COMBINED SHIPPING. I don't want to put in a % or amount for COMBINED SHIPPING. I want to determine that AFTER the auction is over. So how do I just list the amount of the postage but NOT the combined amount. Do I just make the box white by deleting anything that comes up in it?

Hello ciao346,
Unfortunately, at this time anyway, there is no way to list what the cost of the shipping for an item will be without indicating a cost also for when it will be combined with other items during checkout.
Disabling the checkout completely and calculating the shipping costs when the auction has been completed would be the only option currently.

Thank you Christopher for answering my question..Let me see if I understand this correctly, If I enable the "I am Specifying shipping costs" and I put in say $4.00 as a shipping cost..then I would have to type in something like $3.75 in the combined shipping part to show that I would charge 25 cents less for combined shipping, in order to use this option? Also, I just read another post regarding shipping. If you don't choose this option, then eBay will list the shipping in their search as NOT SPECIFIED as opposed to SEE ITEM DESCRIPTION...Is that correct? If so, that stinks!! Anyway of checking with eBay, if that is the case, to have it changed back to SEE ITEM DESCRIPTION. JUST NOTICED SOMETHING...In the shipping area, there is a box to check off that says, "Apply Shipping Discount for eBay checkout" If I DON't check that off, would it make any difference? Thanks..barb

That is correct, the Vendio checkout will need something in that field, but the displayed shipping costs won't list what the discount is, or even that there would be a discount.
If you choose not to use the discount for the eBay checkout as well, the buyer would never see this amount unless they came to Vendio and completed the Vendio checkout prior to your going in and editing this cost manually.
As for the 'not specified' issue, with the most recent eBay changes this is the case, but it seems like they are making some of these changes daily so who knows, maybe tomorrow will being a completely different behavior.
