In another thread the topic arose of text and buttons and controls that are too small to read and use easily. If this is something that is giving you trouble when you use our site, I want to hear from you on this thread, or via email ([email protected]).
Some questions for you:
1. I know that some pages that still carry the older design scheme (namely Control Panel and Post-Sale) still have text that's very very tiny. Do these small fonts make it difficult for you to do tasks with these pages? Which tasks (or columns) give you the most trouble?
2. Do you have trouble reading the green buttons with white text?
3. Are there other pages that give you this kind of trouble? If so, which ones?
4. What sort of magnification do you use to view other sites on the web (e.g., reading glasses, changing browser font size, screen magnification utilities)?
5. Would you be willing to participate in a usability test (either in person or online) to help us identify the problem designs and determine how to fix them?

The only thing I can't read is the tiny text on the Sales Manager heading bars. BUT I don't need to read it to know what the columns are, and I DON'T WANT that bar to be bigger.
In fact, I'd appreciate it if you DON'T enlarge the text or the icons or anything else that make scrolling even more necessary than it is now. Any extra mouse motion you can eliminate would be appreciated and will save many of us from sore joints!
How about putting the action buttons in more places so we don't ALWAYS have to scroll to the bottom?
Seems like many pages (like the image upload) have a default size that is just enough too big that scrolling to get to the action button is required. Lowering the default number of input boxes from 15 - or better yet letting us set it as a preference - would be a great improvement.
