A paypal payment was posted into an auction of mine and it is wrong. The amount that shows in post sale is $7.95. But that doesn't include the shipping. The total amount that Paypal tells me in my paypal account and in the emails is $10.95. Why is wrong?

Hello,
On 11.04 PayPal made some changes to their system and have since been missing the shipping costs in their data being sent to confirm payments.
On 11.08 they stated "The issue has been logged and I would expect a fix shortly if not already" - however no fix is in place thus far.
We are evaluating ways to possibly use this improperly formatted data to post the payments in post sale, but this may cause further issues above just PayPal getting this issue corrected on their end.
When more information is available we will post back to this thread.
Regards,
Christopher

The problem is ongoing. The amounts are still not correct. It does not show the shipping included in the total when the item is paid.

Hello,
Can you give us some item number examples? We understood that PayPal planned to have everything resolved by Monday.

Hello,
We are still looking at ways around this, apparently it's not completely fixed by PayPal yet. We will post back when we have more information available.

Hello. I am concerned about significant glitches like this hanging around for quite awhile before fixes appear, because ebay has no motivation to have its competition look better than its own checkout and sales tools. Is this a back end Paypal glitch that affects ebay checkout customers also or only the third party solution providers like Vendio and others? Thanks!

Hello,
PayPal has reported that they were able to correct their glitch as of Friday.
All payments that come in for auctions closing since Friday should have the proper shipping costs imported.

Christopher
