I had an auction on Ebay that had a non-paying bidder. I have filed an NPB with Ebay, but how do I do the same on Vendio? It was a $2300 auction and I was charged the maximum $4.95 fee through Vendio. However, I don't foresee this buyer following through, as he has a dead email address and a dead phone number, on top of which he has not responded at all. There should be an easy way to do this, without having to go to 15 different places looking for it.

Hello Clara,

To start a UPI dispute, go to Sales Manager -> Post Sale -> Awaiting Payment. Select your items, then click the "Start UPI" button. On the next page, select the reason for your dispute (NOTE: you must wait 7 days after an item closes before starting a UPI dispute or you will receive an error.)

Once the dispute has started, you will see the status of the dispute in the Unpaid Item Dispute column. When the buyer responds, you will see whether any action is needed under the UPI Action column. If an action is required, you may use the "Update UPI" button. Once the dispute is settled, eBay will issue FVF credits accordingly.

To request Final Value Fee credits for items which have been settled from Vendio, you must use our refund request form, available at this URL:

https://secure.vendio.com/my/acct/request_refund.html

Open your statement to the page showing the line item that you need refunded, then open a separate window and paste the above URL in it. This way you can easily locate and paste the Ref ID for the line item into the refund request form. IMPORTANT NOTE: We require a copy/paste of the line item from your eBay statement showing the FVF fee credit in order to process a refund from our system.

Regards,

Ed

I think he was saying there should be a "easy" way of doing it. In other words not having to search our invoice for info. Couldn't you just add a file for vendio refund in the UPI section. If we are granted the ebay FVF credit vendio would automatically refund the charge also. Or is that just to simple.

My point exactly. Seems like alot of *rap to have to do all of that just to get a refund. We can file our NPB's from Vendio, so why doesn't Vendio pick up on that and just refund at the same time, once the NPB is closed and final value credit given through Ebay. Should be made alot simpler than what it is. Perhaps if it is made to be aggravating enough, few people would request the refund?

just my two cents on this. Why not just dump this selling plan and go with one with a per item selling fee. If you are selling anything of value those % fees will add up to the amount you would be paying for a per listing fee. then you would not need to ask for a fee refund.

I agree with you both that there should be an easy way to do it, but then it would not be Vendio.

I'm on the pay as you go plan now. This was a $2300 auction with a "having fun and games" final bidder. Bad email address, bad phone #. The fees alone through Ebay were outrageous, so I'm trying to recover as much as possible. Had taken the piece on consignment. Most expensive one item I've ever "not" sold.
