I can't seem to set my insurance to (calc). When I set up a listing, I am required to put a $$ figure into the insurance cost. Then, when a buyer purchases more than one item (and the cost is still under $50) the insurance in their checkout doubles.
Unfortunately eBay checkout does not allow fixed shipping with calculated insurance. Vendio checkout does allow fixed shipping with calculated insurance. Disabling Vendio checkout would not solve this issue for you.

Nathan, I find it very difficult to believe that I'm the only person with fixed shipping rates that does not want the insurance to double or triple when a buyer purchases two or three items.
This was not always the case. Prior to eBay implimenting showing shipping cost, my insurance calculated perfectly.
What setting can I change in Vendio to have fixed shipping cost and calculated insurance?
If you stop providing the eBay checkout details, you can mismatch fixed shipping with calculated insurance as the Vendio checkout system doesn't require them to match.
Simple check the box labeled 'I am NOT specifying eBay shipping and payment details' prior to listing/relisting your items.
