I have a listing in my ebay store #300018921575, which was canceled on 9/24/06. This item - Baseball Topical Stamps, appears as closed in my Control Panel.
The item has been appearing on and off in the Topical Stamp Collection Category of my ebay store, since the item was closed. The item counts in the category mysteriously increase or decrease by one, based upon the presence of the closed listing.
When accessed, the item description states that the item has not been sold, and is closed. The item still appears in an ebay search.
Its an auction item but you can find it via a search in your store. I wasn't however able to find your 'ghost' listing. Perhaps it just isn't being displayed at this time?

In response to your question, No, that is not the item that appears in the store. The item you mention sold on Friday evening.
It's back! The item is #300018921575, and it appeared on and off Friday night. This item was ended on 9/24, and is still showing in my ebay store.

Hello,
I was able to pull this item up in an eBay search, and I do see that it has ended. I am also showing that it is in your closed section in Vendio. Unfortunately, this really isn't a Vendio issue. You would need to contact eBay about this, as this appears to be a problem with eBay's search function. (To the best of my knowledge a closed listing shouldn't pull up when doing an eBay search.)
