In order to take advantage of ebay's "Frame" option in my listings, I would like to resize the images that my graphics are linked to.
For example, I would like to resize this graphic:
with this one:
Is there a way to replace the current image so that my active listings will reflect the change?

Hi neglus,
If you delete the current image, and reupload the resized version using the same *exact* filename (case sensitive, including the file extension) it will automatically replace the larger version that is attached to your listings now. Note that the update can take a couple of hours to propagate.

Diana - the problem is that I cannot access the place where you upload the graphic files or control the extensions you put on them (uploaded through template workshop). At least I don't THINK I can...although I got the URL from an active listings so I know it would be possible to swap them if I can just get access to the "elements" folder.
For example, the URL of the first image in the example is this:
http://imagehost.vendio.com/elements/neglus/.templates/accent/904276751_SMALLERVIEW.jpg
and the other one is one I uploaded to my regular image folders.

Thanks Christopher - I tried that but the process of uploading it added a new extension (I can't control the extension that is assigned - the act of uploading seems to generate this).
The new url for the image is:
t.vendio.com/elements/neglus/.templates/accent/904509079_904276751_SMALLERVIEW.jpg
the first number was tacked on the one I uploaded.
I have several graphics I would like to "fix" this way. I still have to adjust the templates and image sized going forward but would like the 7000 existing listings to look halfway decent.
NOTE: That process does work with the Logo uploads (and I don't even have to use the same name - just the same logo number) but not with the graphics.

Hello,
I do see what you mean. The image name is given a unique number extension each time that you upload a template graphic. How urgent is it that you change the current graphics in your existing listings? If this is an urgent issue, then our engineers *may* be able to change this for you (I would need to confirm with them on Monday). If that is the case, please send us an email (to [email protected]) with the graphics that need to be replaced on all of your active listings.
For example: replace "http://imagehost.vendio.com/elements/neglus/.templates/accent/904276751_SMALLERVIEW.jpg" with the attached image "SMALLERVIEW.jpg".
I will then log a request with our engineers. Please note that it makes sense to me that they should be able to do this, but I don't want to promise that this is possible until they have confirmed that it can be done. This is an unusual request.

Thanks Nathan - not life or death urgent but it would be great if the engineers can do that. I will figure out which ones this would apply to and email you.
It would be great if we could see the url of the images we upload - once I upload a new image, an old one drops off the list available...or if we could have access to our elements file to make changes ourselves..but those are just suggestions.
I did notice that the template I used the longest and the one that is based on the Vendio storefront from before we had customizble templates has resized to accomodate the store frame.

Note to Ed - I emailed you about this but you seemed unclear about what I was asking. Could your engineers PLEASE resize the image that is linked to most of my listings in the template graphics to a size that will work with ebay's side navigation bar? Thanks.

Hello Mary Ann,
In this context it's a lot more clear = )
Let me bump heads with Nate and see what he did previously for you and I'll see if we can correct this image problem for you.

Hello,
After you updated your template in the workshop, any of the items that you had been running with that template would have updated with the new image the next time that you listed or relisted that item from Vendio.
If you made that change back in September, all except your Good Till Closed items or items that you relisted directly should already be using the new template images.
We do understand what your asking about swapping one image with another while retaining the same URL, as you would do with a normal image (vs template graphics.) We'll check in with the engineering team to see if they can and if so, when they can schedule it in with the current projects and other (custom) customer requests.

Yes - my new listings (since whenever in September) all use the smaller graphic. Unfortunately, many of my GTC's (about a year's worth - around 1,000 items) have the larger image and require scrolling to view and that's what I would like to fix by swapping out a smaller image with the same url.
