Hi, moderators: My saved template list is quite long, and I'd like to delete a few of them. ALSO, suddenly your NEW templates have magically appeared in my "saved templates" list without my choosing them. I see no way to delete them and need step-by-step directions on how to do this. Hello roadsmith,
To delete a custom template, go to My Account -> Template Preferences. Scroll down to the Saved Templates section. Highlight the template(s) you want to delete, and click the Delete button.

Thanks, Vlad. But. . . I've done EXACTLY what you suggest with the first two, Asian Papyrus and Lemon Grass, and they're still there. Please see if you can go in and delete them, and if you can, I'll give you the short list.
By the way, this is a problem for some other Vendio people, too. Should be fixable! ~Adele

And. . . when I try it by going into the Template Workshop and bringing up the unwanted templates, there's no button anywhere that I can see to delete that.
I've tried two different ways to delete, now, and they aren't working at all.
This could get to be a problem later on for many of us if, every time you have a new template to offer us, you automatically add it to OUR saved templates!
Sorry for the confusion, you are correct in that those 7 specific new templates are not deleting the same as all the others in your account at this time.
We do not plan to add new templates automatically everytime they are released, this was a one time deal only.
While these were defaulted on for all users, there should be an option to delete them the same as your regular templates and we'll have someone check into that asap and post back so you know when you can remove these 7.
Any templates outside of those specific new ones you should be able to delete no problem, so please let us know if you were having trouble deleting them in general or if it was just the new ones you wanted to get rid of.

I tried to delete the old Vendio Sample templates (I think there are 3 of them) and was not able to.

That is correct, anyone trying to delete the templates that Vendio has automatically made available to choose from would be unable to do so at this time.
While you can edit and rename them, trying to delete them does not work, regardless of which Vendio account your in while doing so.
When this behavior changes, we will post back to this thread with those details.

As always, thanks, Christopher! PLEASE LET US KNOW when we are able to delete those. Some of us (like me) have perhaps 10 templates we've painstakingly worked over and use all the time, and extra ones thrown in by Vendio just clog up the works. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM.
P.S. We should also be able to delete ANY templates we don't want, including the ones Vendio is insisting on our keeping there. What is the purpose of that?!

When this behavior changes, we will post back to this thread with those details.
Those first 3 sample templates have been there since the workshop was released years ago, and unfortunately I do not have an answer as to why it was specifically setup that way. (those 3 were always unavailable to be deleted, and will ask if we can make them available to be deleted now.)
If you have any new questions on this subject, please let us know.

Okay, Christopher, one more thing. There's a whole slew of templates below the ones I actually want that have been there from the beginning and which I've never been able to delete.
If you take a look at my saved templates, you'll see them--a string of them below the ones I've given names to. It would be great to get them out of there, too.
