Tonight I got a very terse email from someone asking where her book, ordered 8/3, is. She didn't state any info about the book - neither title, or purchase venue. I ended up locating the sale by her email, and it turned out to be an Amazon Marketplace sale; however, the name of the buyer is definitely not the same as the person who just contacted me. I sent her a copy of the sale info from Amazon, asking her about it but haven't heard back yet. Has anyone else had anything like this happen?

I sells books on marketplace.
recently i received an email from a lady who claimed she received her book and 34 pages were ripped off from the book(384 pages).
the email does not match the email of the buyer so i just ignore her,so far i have not heard from her.
i buy these books from wholesalers and established bookstores, there is no way 34 pages missing will not be caught by someone working in the industry.

I heard from the customer this morning - she says "The e-mail address is old and would be to complicated
to change, so I never did." I have no idea what the story is there. Anyway, I asked for her patience, as it was sent Media from the East Coast to CA, and that tends to take forever.

I use Endicia.com for postage and my media mail from Florida to CA is taking 4-5 days
I use delivery confirmation and it is only .12

I got a very nice email from the customer about 3 days ago. She said she finally received the book and was very happy with it. I was quite relieved. I have started adding the zip+4 to my Media mail, as I heard that speeds things up - but will believe it when I see it!
