I have not been able to add pictures to my zShops and Marketplace listings since day before yesterday. What's up with that? Anybody out there having the same problem?

When I try to upload the item's photo from my computer to Amazon.com, I get the following response: "There is some problem with how you've filled out the form. Please scroll down to look for red text indicating which fields were filled out improperly. You've opted to host your image at Amazon.com, but have not selected an image file for upload. Please be sure to Click on the browse button to add your image."

Believe me, I'm doing it properly. I have been selling on Amazon.com since early 1999 and know how to add pictures to my listings. The problem is with Amazon.com's system, not with my ability to add photos to my listings. As you know, adding photos of the item that is up for sale enhances the listing. I spend a lot of time trying to make my ads look attractive and professional so it is really frustrating for me when Amazon.com has a "glitch" in the system.

And, boy, do they have glitches!!!!!

Have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend!

I've been having the same problem today. It is frusterating how everything at Amazon appears to be one step forward, one step back these days. But then again, the alternatives aren't much better these days. I guess we should just enjoy the long weekend and hope they get the glitches out before people start buying again on Tuesday. (knock on wood)

I am having exactly the same problem, as are others based on a reading of Amazon's seller discussion board. I've just emailed Amazon re the situation. (I too am quite experienced, and have over 300 current listings in my zshop.)

On the 31st of August, I emailed Amazon.com about this problem and about a couple of others. Here is the response that I received this afternoon:

"Thank you for contacting us at Amazon.com.

I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to upload your images and are having
problems with your listings. I apologize for any difficulty you have
experienced as a result of this. Our technical staff is aware of this
situation and is working hard to address any loss of functionality you may
be experiencing. I have passed your information along to them to better
help them as they work toward the swiftest possible resolution.

Again, I regret any inconvenience this may have caused you, and
appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue. I am not sure
what you mean by "rotating" sellers, but I do want you to know that we
treat all sellers equally and we certainly do appreciate your business and
want you to be successful. I apologize that you are unhappy with your
sales volume on our site, however we have no control over buyer's choices."

Unfortunately, the person who emailed me from Amazon.com did not address all of my concerns, so I shall be emailing them once again. Actually, I probably email them at least once a day about something or another.

Good or bad, they hear from me regularly!

Ok I'll buy that No One can control buyers choices, however..... Leaving virtually NO open door (tabs) to z-shops and auctions certainly limits buyers choices.. Imagine the crowds if they just put those simple things back in place.

Frankly I'm quite impressed you didn't just get form letter like I usually do.

Still can't figure out that TAB thing! what's up with Amazon? A little thing for them and they do would increase their profits. I am writing once a week ~ maybe I will try once a day to get them to change that one~ I could put up with all their glitches etc if they had a tab for auctions/ z shops. Marketplace pricing has gotten worse and worse. Some of the prices for the books by the low ballers are lower than what you would get selling at an auction site like ebay!( sorry got off topic~ with my usual rant re TABS! )but picture loading glitch would cause so much more time and effort to have to go and reload all the pics.
