It sounds like either the item you are trying to send to Amazon is not already in their system, or you have the incorrect UPC code. If the item is not already in Amazon's system, then you will need to create the item using the "Add your product to the Amazon catalog" option. Should you continue to have trouble with this, please let us know the name of the item where you are having trouble, so that we can take a closer look.

Hi Nathan
And thanks for getting back to me so quickly!
Where exactly do I find the "Add your product to the Amazon catalog" option.?
I'm not sure where to find this option and I've scoured around since reading your message to no avail.
The name of the item in my store is: "Winchester .40 S&W 180 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammunition", and you can find it in my store at http://vendio.com/stores/northtech

Hi Nathan,
I still can't seem to find that option you suggested for me.
I've included some links to screen shots for you so you can see that this option to add the product to the amazon catalog isn't there. At least I can't see it.

Hello Bradley,
Sorry for the confusion. It seems you have already activated that link within that item. If you take a look at your item "Ademco / Honeywell 4110XM 'Full System' Burglar Alarm" then you will be able to see what it looks like before the link is activated.
Have you made some progress on this since yesterday? I took a look at the item, but was unable to locate any current error messages. However, I did notice that your item description has more characters than Amazon allows. While it might not be the only problem, it is definitely part of the problem. Please edit the item and then edit the "Amazon Info" section. Then decrease the number of characters in the "Description" section to 2000 or less, and let us know should you continue to have trouble with this.

Hi Nathan,
I haven't tried to submit the Ademco/Honeywell alarm system to Amazon yet. I'm waiting on the UPC/GTIN code(s) now.
The product in question is the Winchester 40 caliber ammunition.
You are right, it is saying that I am way over the character count of 2000 characters for submitting the item to Amazon.
It is saying the the character count is 4239, although the actual character count is 128 - down from the 1442 character count I did have.
It still won't submit though. It says it does when I save it - it says it was submitted to Amazon, but then when I check it isn't there, and when I go back and look it says that the character count is (again) 4239, instead of the 128 characters that it actually is.
The Vendio SKU# is 125518082

Oh, one more thing, you had made mention of the UPC code being perhaps incorrect.
I checked it here: http://www.upcdatabase.com/itemform.asp and it comes up exactly what it is supposed to be.
I just can't get my head around why the system says it submits to Amazon just fine and then when I go back it says the character count is 4239 when the character count is actually 128 - I even tried manually typing out the description again to make sure, instead of cutting and pasting the info.
Thanks,
Bradley.

Hello Bradley,
I wanted to let you know that I sent you an email message about this. Please let us know should you not receive the email message (or if you have any questions).

Bradley... One of the "cons" with Amazon is;
Anyone with a pro-merchant account can actually go in and switch description and product info of items. I went to the item (S&W Ammo) and switched it to the title description you suggested.
If an item is NOT in the Amazon catalog, ONLY pro-merchant account holders can actually use the "ADD ITEM PRODUCT PAGE". Once you have added your item, give it about 5 minutes and then SEARCH YOUR INVENTORY. This will bring up your most current added items. On the right hand side is an EDIT link. Click this and you can edit your item. If you need to EDIT MAJOR ITEMS like title description - upc - etc. ...on the right hand side of the edit page is ANOTHER - EDIT THIS PRODUCT link button. This allows you to change title etc.
