Considering that you're talking about Amazon, your listings may never show up. If you send Amazon an e-mail I'm confident that they'll send a reply telling you how they value you as a seller and that they are happy you sell on Amazon.
I doubt that they'll actually answer your question, but isn't it fun to get a cut & paste response that has nothing to do with your question? That's Amazon's specialty.

Not my experience at all. Every email I have sent to Amazon has been answered and the answers addressed specifically to my questions. Completely different experience from what I have had at other sites.
Sorry your experience has been negative, I'm sure I'll have mine, but so far I can say that Amazon has proven to be the most user friendly site I've used-both as a buyer and seller.
I posted here thinking someone else who had more experience would be able to just tell me what the time frame was.
As it stands, my items were in the search when I checked this morning. So apparently a couple of days is the answer-at least on a weekend. Not much longer than it takes for gallery listings to show up on eBay.
My search edit is also fixed, which was another question I had posted in another thread.
