I want to sell on Amazon.com marketplace. I went to apply, but wasn't able to fully complete the registration process because I don't have a checking account. Later I got an automated message from amazon telling me my application would be complete when I provide that info.
Does anyone know how I can contact a real person at amazon to straighten this out & get started selling?
I am pretty sure it's possible to get paid with a paper check since I read under amazon payments' TOS that paper checks would be sent to those who are unable to accept electronic deposits to their accounts. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Also, if anyone has been paid by paper check from amazon, could you please tell me what bank the check is drawn on?
Thanks very much to anyone who posts!!! I REALLY appreciate it!!!!!!!!

It's part of their verification process to prevent fraud---if you don't have a USA checking account and credit card in the USA, billed to a USA address you can't sell on Marketplace.

The credit cards aren't the problem- I have those out the yingyang. It's the lack of checking account that's screwing me.
Thanks SO MUCH for the phone # valeriet! I really appreciate that! I'll give them a call & see what I can do. I'm sure that actually speaking to someone will accomplish more, faster, than emailing the 'bots back & forth will.

Hello,
I have some questions and would love some help....
I have loaded a few books into marketplace as a test. I also slipped in "bookrate" on my descriptions.
Has anyone done this?
I want to try Zshop too.
Which is best? Sounds like it might be a better deal on Zshops.
Is there a place to do a mini home page?
Can you have your description just link to a page that has a picture and a description? (like geocities)
