I love memory lane. Often people who claim THEY are doing well tell anyone who posts their "nasty," "negative" remarks to just get lost. BUT, when they are NOT doing well, their OWN "nasty," "negative," remarks are a clarion call for justice,
and completely warranted.
How quickly peops forget.
Funny.

Bids and sales are way down. Things need to change, or we need to find a new home. Any suggestions in that regard?
Ebay is unacceptable; Yahoo is ok occasionally, but I couldn't see listing several hundred auctions with them and expect to make ends meet.
Does Amazon want to be in the Auction business any longer? I really hate to see this kind of thing happening.
A number of months ago I voiced my concern that Amazon was not treating its sellers as "customers". Quite a number of "Amazon is always right" folks were quick to point out how wrong I was. We're now seeing the results of Amazon's narrow definition of customer.
And where are the "Amazon is always right" folks now? They've either left the venue or are preparing to leave.

And in the vein of answering one's own question (last paragraph above), the below...

I really wish those who "drop in" now and again just to leave nasty remarks about Amazon would get their kicks elsewhere. If you're doing so much better in another venue that's just great . . . but leave us alone.
I've sold over $1500 worth of merchandise in the last three days on Amazon and I'm happy here. If that's cheerleading, so be it.

Thank you for showing us the nature of the online auction business. Ups and downs. Not all of us are up together or down together. Humanity. Nobody is perfect or perfectly consistent. And once again it is fascinating to see just how much free time you have.

We will all have much more "Free-Time" coming up. Amazon is indeed "jamming" their own auction site.
I like the fact that jbeier7154 brought some of the so-called "old-threads" up. They need to be addressed. He might be aggressive....But he sounds honest and indeed is a straight-talker. Amazon is completely out of line. They are the one's who made the offer of the Pro merchant. Then they delete our cross-links behind our backs. From my experience....75% of the usefulness of the Pro Merchant Account was the cross links. He is right....At least in my case. My sales are down 80%. We spent months of work on this. Then....To bolster themselves....They obliterate the most important aspect of it. Plus they wait to do it in the high season.
Thumbs up jbeier7154. The world needs more people like you. "Ups & Downs" is a part of "Humanity" and daily life. HOWEVER.....These "Ups & Downs" are being created for you for something you are paying for.

Nice to see honesty is still not a factor in what you write.
#1. If I have all this free time for posting one post in 2 months, just imagine how much free time you have with the amount you post. Just why is that? Not doing so well on your lil' auction site?
#2. "Perfectly consistent"? One month roundly criticizing someone for doing THE EXACT SAME THING that the one being critical
did the month before? That's HYPOCRISY, something which you're an expert on.
#3. Keep the passive-aggressive behavior up.
It's fitting that a person who would send private, unsolicited emails suggesting that things be done to inflame a bad situation
instead of just being up front about their actions wouldn't know how to come right out and say what they really mean even if they wanted to.
TATA. Seeya in another oh, 2-3 months, that is, if either Amazon the auction venue or Amazon the company is around then, as the company has literally lost 50% of its market value in the past MONTH. BILLIONS. As in MANY.

OK - I'm a big idiot. I know nothing and you know all. You are the God of All Message Boards and I bow before you. I am flawed while you are a vision of maturity and perfection incarnate. I apologize to you and to everyone who has ever been offended by my existence.

Valeriet:
I don't why you take things so: SERIOUSLY & PERSONALLY.
You know what? Being positive is a better approach. It is HEALTHIER. It is more PRODUCTIVE in the long run. BUT....In this particular instance.....Standing up for your rights is a POSITIVE thing. Amazon doesn't owe any of us anything. BUT....They do owe us what we are paying for. You DO NOT sell someone a business package with advertising and THEN discard it without notice.
This is all probably a waste of time anyway. They are on a banana peel.....Big time.
Stay positive....Yes. Best to train your thoughts in that direction. But criticizing someone for aggresively & TRUTHFULLY stating the facts is out of bounds in my opinion.

Let's hope for everyone's sake Amazon has the foresight to do what they have bargained with all of us for. We are all in this together. Some of us are more involved than others. That is a mute point. The principle applies to all though. None of this would have occued if it was not for Amazon.
