I'm trying to list a book that is out-of-print. Another big book reseller has this book out there. The list on this book is $45. The book seller has this at 16.95 and Amazon has this at 6.89 for a book that is not out of print.
When I try to enter it as "like new" I am being forced to list at 20% less than 6.89. When I try to list as collectible the book's list price of $45 comes up and I am being forced to list above $45. So how did this bookseller enter 16.95?
Thanks.
I've tried calling Amazon in the past and each time they said they would get back to me and so far they never have. So far their customer service has yet to be able to answer my questions on the spot.

I have seen this before also. And I have seen the problem with the wide gap between Amazon and list prices and being unable to price inside the gap.
I suspect that the other seller was able to list at that price because the Amazon price was lowered after they entered their book. Just a guess, but it is the only explanation that I have been able to come up with.
