Has anyone ever had to refund a buyer and if so is it up to me to decide how to handle it?
A customer ordered the wrong video from me that her daughter already has and wants to return it. I don't mind her returning it but I'm not interested in eating Amazon's commission either. I would like to tell her that I would refund her money less commission and shipping charges but I'm not sure how this works.

Thanks.

Did they use Amazon payments?
If so, just go to the transaction and refund the whole price, Amazon will reverse the commissions as well.

I had to do the refund thing the other day. In the script it said that I would be debited the refund amount out of my account and my fees would be credited . That made me even up.Amzn does the rest on their CC.But I hadn't sent anything yet.If they pay postage back to you-it would work.
