AMAZON, AMAZON, AMAZON, what are you thinking????

Many of my new zShops buyers do not have links for me to leave them feedback. I called CS and found out that if that new customer picked a streamlined way of registering that I am not given the ability to give them feedback. BUT, they can give me feedback.

THIS really STINKS!!!!!

No offense, but what Amazon ROCKET SCIENTIST thought this one up? Was a dart board used in making this decision?

PLEASE, Amazon read your own language and attitude toward feedback....

It's the prerogative of buyers and sellers to
rate their transaction partners.....This feedback helps everyone establish a reputation in our
community...........If you've been in a transaction, you're eligible to rate your transaction partner and leave a line of feedback.......Always take a moment to leave feedback. If it's positive, it means a lot to the recipient. If it's negative, it means a lot to your fellow Amazonians.

AMAZON, this is another BLUNDER that puts sellers at risk with no reciprocal leverage toward working things out. Sellers are now left vunerable to FEEDBACK EXTORTION. Unfortunately, now zShops buyers can impulsively flame the sellers without any motivation to work things out. I can't believe AMAZON has done this !!!!!!

It needs to be one way or the other. Either both buyer and seller can leave each other feedback or neither can leave feedback.

This is very frustrating as I have been patiently waiting and encouraging other sellers to patiently wait for Amazon to make much needed improvements. Instead, Amazon puts the SCREWS to the SELLERS with another advancement.

Another straw on the camel's back!

Perry ... are you sure? I am hoping you're mistaken or your customer service rep was misinformed. This is a horific development! I'm stunned!

I have gotten a couple of reps lately who told me the reason I was having trouble editing my MarketPlace to add pic to item was "Oh, you can't add a picture to a MarketPlace item". HUH? I just sat here and added 200 pics in a row to MarketPlace items..... having problems with one or two, and the rep tells me I can't add any. Sure Lo-o-o-ok like my scans when I click on my junk... I mean goods. Sigh, Perry please tell us that you had an inexperienced rep and it was all a bad dream..........

I am positive that the customer service rep knew what he was talking about. He confirmed while on the phone with me by looking in the buyer's account that the buyer had opted for the streamlined registration. And, that they buyer was able to leave me feedback, but that I was not able to leave the buyer feedback. The rep is also a seller and will become a full time seller in May. The rep was in as much dismay as you and me when he discovered the situation and could not understand why the system was set up that way.
I am afraid it is currently the way things are. I posted my problem with it on several discussion boards and with TAGnotes in hopes it will catch the attention of many who will complain...even though complaining has never done any good with Amazon

I would have to say it's true too. I just had 3 customers leave feedback and there is no link on my end to leave feedback.

I agree IT STINKS!

it is good that they left you feedback.

some sellers are already getting complaints from buyers who expect feedback in return and not getting it because the sellers can't leave them feedback.

Amazon has really goofed on this one.
