I agree with it depends on what you are selling. I sell on many sites and find that each site has its pros and cons. Try them out and see what works best for you and your merchandise.
I have items that use to sell very well on eBay, but they do not sell there very well for me there any more. Also, I have learned that some sellers do well and I do poor or visa versa with similar items.
I have a higher ratio of completed sales on eBay than I do on any other site. But, on eBay my profit can quickly deteriorate due to the higher selling fees and lower final sales prices paid by bargain hunters.
For $40 a month I can list on Amazon forever but the completed transaction rate is considerably lower.
