I keep getting emails that I've sold another marketplace item. I'm not getting any follow-up to say that I've been paid and I should ship the item. Is anyone else having this problem?

Yep, a lot of sellers are. The following announcement was posted on the sellers announcement thread at Amazon. You may want to check out the Amazon Seller Connection forum for more information.
Payments processing and notification are temporarily on hold while system maintenance is performed. Initiated transactions have been queued and will be processed. Sellers should not ship until payment confirmation is received.

Amazon payments is down once again. At least they posted a message on their seller announcement board about this one.

I'm having the same problem. I sold one item last night and this morning but no followups telling me the buyers paid and to ship to them. I hope they get those e-mails out by tomorrow morning.

it is important to remmeber that when the system is functioning well, there are good reasons why amzn delays in sending out second email asking you to ship your item .
sometimes an overseas customer credit card transaction takes longer to clear, sometimes it could be a stolen card or some clarification is required from the customer/
i have a customer who ordered an expensive book from overseas,it could be RUSSIA and amzn never send me the second email as the credit cad cannot be verified.
