I am still new to E-Bay trading and have just had my first hand slap by E-Bay .. an honest mistake in describing an item and the item was, of course, taken out of auction. This is OK. Prior to being taken out, the item had a bid. My question is this: did E-Bay advise the bidder as to why this item disappeared from my site? I'm concerned that he may think that I did this and not bid on sny more of my auctions... Please help!!

You might want to ask this under the ebay category, not amazon.

To answer your question, ebay sends a notice to the bidder that the auction was cancelled, but with no explanation why.
