I am wondering if someone can help me here.
I signed up for a Pro Merchant account yesterday, and began closing my MP listings and reopening them individually under my new account in the Marketplace. The first batch that I listed have now moved from Opening Soon into the Open listings, however they are not showing up in my Z-shop. I'm confused...I thought that listings entered in the Marketplace would also show up in the Z-shop automatically. Is this incorrect or am I doing something wrong? I've tried calling customer service, but of course they are not open until tomorrow. In the meantime I am trying to beat any $.99 charges on the old listings that I had in the MP by trying to get them closed and reopened under my new subscription. I hate to go any further until I find out whether I am doing something incorrectly. Is is possible that my new listings will show up in my Z-shop eventually...is there a lag time between the time that they appear in my Open MP listings and in my Z-shop? How has this worked for those of you who have been through this process? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi eternal, your stuff probably IS in your zShops. Here's how it shows;
Go to your 'Member Profile' page.
Click on 'View Your Store'.
Click on any of your items displayed to the right under 'Featured Items' or below inside the BROWSE box under 'see all YOUR AMAZON NAME your zShop & Marketplace listings'. (I think that last was custom-worded in a feature they have to adjust your preferances like the color of the frame and other big whoop-ti-doo.)
So, in other words..... if a customer is looking at only YOUR ad, it is a zShop.
If they come from an Amazon page where Amazon sells the book (cd/video whatever) or states it is out-of-print and other sellers are listed on the same page (or able to be listed there <say you are the only one with the book> it is a Marketplace sale.
Same book. Two shops.
If you can see the custom colored frames and your Amazon name at the top it's zShop.

Thanks immykidsmom for this information. I just checked, but I don't think the listings made it into my Z-shop yet...it still says "No Open Listings" under the "Browse" box. It's been almost 24 hours since my first batch moved into my Open Listings, and I've made 2 sales from that batch already, so I guess they're at least showing up under the Marketplace.
Thanks for the phone number too. That's a great idea about taping it to your monitor. I get tired of looking it up every time I need it.

I hope you phoned them today..... if not and zShops still show no open on Tue please phone 'em! You know how after you do a listing and it says "your listing will appear live within about 1 hour"? Right. I usually see it live in 4-6 hours, and often 24 hours, occasionally longer than 24 hours!

Well I finally gave them a call today since the listings are still not showing up. The rep agreed with your statement, saying it usually takes 8 hours for them to appear in the z-shop. It's now been 72. He said that there is a technical problem that they're working on right now that is causing it. I did notice this morning that some of the listings in my "Open" listings are actually closed ones sitting in the Open area. He mentioned that as part of the problem they are working on overall. We'll see what happens.
