I have a buyer from tawain that wants to purchase a book off the Marketplace. I have the book set up for "I will ship internationally". He keeps writing me and says he can't find Tawain on the list of countries. I know Amazon has a A-Z guarantee for certain countries but can't any country buy the book and absorb the risk on thier own? I can't seem to find anything. Thanks.

It is my understanding that the purchase thru Marketplace you have to Pay with Amazon's 1-click payment.
All countries are not allowed to use Amazon's 1-click. I'm not sure which ones are/are not and the reasons.
If a country is not listed, then the payment will not go thru.
Maybe you could direct the person to the Z-shop sale (if you offer international) and can offer the person a "Cash Sale" or BidPay or International Money Order or payment thru WESTERN UNION???

Interesting I just sold about 6 auctions to a gal in taiwan. She couldn't get the 1-click to work so she used her brothers US card and address. Everything worked out fine took about 5 days to get to her.
but I did think she was pulling my leg about not being able to do it. Maybe not?

Amazon gives a list of the countries that they will 'support' international sales to. If the country is not on the list, then the transaction will not go through with Amazon payments or 1-Click. I don't know where Taiwan fits in there.

I have many sales to Taiwan and it is not on Amazon's Click-1 List. I have the ability to take any country with my credit card account and I offer for them to pay that way
