Wow !!!
What's scary is that some of us will be dependent on the likes one of these days to pay for our Social Security !

Well.....they're starting to get bids on about 1/2 their items. Somebody likes this stuff. Guess I'm in the wrong business.

Hope they didn't drive after the photo-shoot!

Who in the H would wear something after they had it on?

They could all be Poster Children for Birth Control!

My favorite is the Muppets half shirt (ok 1/3 shirt) complete with beer holding model.

Where can I get me one of doz'?

I adore it..how fun. At least these guys are productive..and good feedback.

I had to laugh when bones21 said that we would have to depend on them when we are on social security. But hey remember the 60's... people then looked just as scrubby and look where a lot of the old hippies are now! I admire these kids for enjoying what they do.

They appear to be posing as human mannequins!

I really think the Coast Guard shirt would be better suited on a smaller model.

By the way, what does EMU stand for?

These people are from my generation but somehow I missed that acronym.

EMU = European Monetary Union

OK ... different EMU - I've been wondering the same thing.... I must be old

Do you mean EMO?

http://www.fourfa.com/

Amazon.com showed the young people that worked behind the scenes a few years ago. Lots of tattoos, body piercings, wild hair colors, etc. but also a very intelligent bunch of kids. The public didn't have to see them at their jobs everyday and they didn't have to "dress for success".

I have to say that among the ant-estab styles - I think Goth at least has the most imagination and diversion within. After reading the EMO style guide I think it came from the wardrobe guidelines of Revenge of the Nerds II.

Actually, I think it's commendable that an Ebay seller is trying to instill a feeling of self esteem into the residents of that halfway house.

Those ads are funny. The sellers have a real flair. People buy things that make them laugh.

As the mother of a pair of urban teens, these kids look like kids to me. They look fine, they look like they have a sense of humor. They are smiling. They don't look like they are going to kill someone who flashes the wrong gang sign, they don't look like they hate your guts for having a different color skin. The photographer has some skill, too. Their sell rate is pretty impressive too....

I looked at those ads again. They are pretty witty and they are selling at pretty good rate.

Hats off to them.

Maybe you all shall get plane tix and go make friends with them?? Personally, I would cross the street to avoid each and every one of them. They look drugged and drawn out, just the kind of folks that will break an old ladys arm to get her purse......

I am always amazed when someone pegs a person as being "high" or "stoned" just by looks. It can be pretty hard to tell.

Guy I went to college with wore three piece suits when he robbed old ladies, men and women. If people had crossed the street when they saw him, they would still have their money and their health. The "misguided" fellow only got community service and had to pay some restitution when he was finally caught. I guess the judge didn't think he looked like a druggie. Looks are very decieving, he had a huge cocaine habit at the ripe old age of 19. Came from a very wealthy family too. Funny thing is: he got a great internship with and was hired by a Fortune 500 company. Last I heard ( 2 years ago) he was still a cocaine addict. But hey, he looks good in his suits, so who cares.

Marion Barry never looked like a druggie. He talked like one though.

I have a relative that was an alcholic for over 50 years. She headed major charities in her city. Won many awards and was used as a sterling example to others. Not one person outside my family knew or even suspected that she was drunk 95% of the time. The other 5% she was looking for a liqour store. She was always immaculately dressed and fi she said something strange people thought she was joking.

The jerk that lived next to me was a coke addict. No one in my upscale, high minded neighboorhood knew until he was arrested. Everyone thought the "druggie looking" brother that visited the jerk was a user. It turns out that his brother does not drink, has never done drugs and was the one that kept putting the jerk into rehab. I just thought he was on vacation when he vanished for weeks at a time.

I cross the street when I see a well dressed, middle aged white man, carrying Business Week or the Wall Street Journal...Chances are he is getting ready to rob me of my pension and my retirement. I'll bet the workers from Enron feel the same.

I hope that not everyone feels this way. We have a lot of things to reform in our system, but I still feel like Capitalism is the way to go. If the U.S. (with all its faults..... and good businesspeople of whatever color) "disappeared", I wonder what kind of world would "appear". Kind of scares ME to envision.

Nothing is wrong with capitalism, but there is something wrong with theft, lies and fraud. I am sure most people will agree with me on that one.
